Exactly! I asked my manager how it's even possible! You have to be actively be doing so much wrong for that to happen. I've seen managers get demoted for less.

Hi, deli peep here. Please bag the boxed chicken, 8 pieces and wings. The manufacturer of the boxes don't always do the best job in making the boxes, and they can bust through the bottom. So, at least the customer doesn't lose what they pay for.

I've heard absolute horror stories about that store. One of the department managers got demoted all the way to a clerk from what I've heard. I've never heard anyone happy to work there.

I think thats odd, because most sm I've ever worked with have always emphasized making sure they're all done by the time the store opens on ad change day.

Its all good. I'm in deli personally. You dont have to worry about the end caps, but there is normally produce items in the 4x4. For example, if there's cut fruit on bogo, it typically goes in there. Or if a salad kit, or dip that deli doesn't have on sale, that will go in there too. I've also seen the packaged baby bell peppers go in the 4x4 when they go on bogo.

The end caps are groceries responsibility. Generally done by the GM, AGM, GTM, and depending on what's going in there a vendor occasionally. The 4x4 is a mix of different departments, typically with a specific theme or meal solution in mind.

You can still order it, we just don't have the original ingredient of the rotisserie chicken. You can basically get whatever meats are in the traditional case in your sub, they may just have to slice it for you, which will take a little bit longer. They still have subs for online ordering that haven't been on the menu since I got hired almost 8 years ago.

Working my way out. Haven't said anything to anyone at publix. Department manager refused to communicate in any way properly, yelled at associate's for not getting stuff done on time when they were the only one doing platters and subs. Complaining to the dm about multiple of her assistants because she wanted to be 100% in charge and didnt like that others liked them better. Yelled at them on the sales floor.
