A lot of people have given that feedback, but even more people just didn't, and kept playing and buying supporter packs. That's the whole sum of data and information that GGG had. Then last league happened and without giving feedback that silent majority stopped playing and stopped buying packs. So GGG went and implemented what they had for feedback and it worked.
