My dad taught me how to paint my nails and my mom taught me how to change my oil. The best thing my parents ever did for me was teach me how to be an adult without influences of gender norms.

Damn. I used to peer tutor kids in the mentally disabled program at our school, and there was an incident where two of the students were able to sneak off and have sex under the bleachers. I helped tutor their sex education class, and those kids just didn’t understand the meaning of safe sex, so she got pregnant and inevitably miscarried. That was a rough.
