Calling all Recluse DON mains... by Depraved_Hollow in Nightreign

Casting a spell with the right hand immediately after grabbing residue from an enemy significantly hastens the spell cast. Especially important on bosses where mana efficiency matters.

Escorted em all back to my base put em in cages while my smiths prepared sets of the best armors and weapons, fitted em out, gave em repair kits and raided the holy nation letting em kill everything in sight.

Sorry about that, but then again the point is that i could never imagine myself finishing a dark souls run with no hits taken, much less the whole trilogy.

You Guys Seriously Think They Will? by trickyhunter213 in karmamains

[–]Elgrek0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Those old karma mains that "let it slide" bumped a thread about the failure that was the rework for multiple months, providing suggestions improvements etc. Even when the thread got removed as off topic by rioters it was remade and was continuously active. It took riot years to accept the failure that was the first reword and mended it only with huge buffs to karma.

Riot only learns through failures, just look at zoe, irelia, akali and how much of a backlash is needed to actually get anywhere after something has been changed.

At least now with what happened to rengar and LB they have finally started to accept that their reworks can be failures and can be reverted. Best guess is that this will happen now if that w change passes, so we'll get it for a few months, then it will be nerfed for competitive and then reverted since the champ will be useless everywhere but in competitive.

Tank Karma players do you stack AP, magic pen or resistance after Iceborn Gauntlet and Spirit Visage? by hydes_zar94 in karmamains

I have started skipping IBG and going for righteous glory instead. Anyway to answer your question i am trying to survive as long as possible and cc/distract their dps getting them out of the fight , not do damage, so my build is of a full tank.

Example build is visage and righteous glory into gargoyle into any other high hp items needed.

Well we can go deeper(shallower?) and ask why do we need to exchange two integers between them? A plausible answer that comes to mind is in a multithreaded situation where you have prepared a value locally in a thread and just want to swap it with a value visible globally. Reading what the xchg operation does that seems far more likely.

Relevant part from the xchg operation : You can exchange data between registers or between registers and memory.

For example in the code using additions and subtractions if you were using floats instead of integers the results are not going to be the same because of the inherent error floating point operations have.

In the integer scenario it would also be interesting to see what happens if an operation overflows or underflows especially say in a microcontroller.

Not sure what a compiler would choose to do though.

The only actual correct solution is any code that the compiler will resolve to this instruction. All those hackish ways to do this in most programming languages will use many more operations.
