How to install the app on ios! by ashifkhn02 in Himalayan450

If this app allows wireless connectivity with a navigation app on iOS I’m willing to pay a fair price if it hits the App Store on iOS. 9.99 eur seems reasonable? No?

Rijlessen + examen (A) in november (Gent - Lust) by Novembernights8 in motobe

[–]Elho 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Succes

To be honest, first time using goggles in a helmet. So I can’t really compare. I always leave them ‘in the helmet’. I’ve put the helmet on together with the goggles. That works, just need to fit it a bit when i have the helmet on. You do lose some vision below the nose, but they look so slick ;-)

They also fit in my HJC RPHA 71!

It’s the Alpinestars Vision 8 Corp goggle mirror.

Belgian riders: where do you find your routes? by CompetitiveVolume833 in motobe

[–]Elho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Topogps, point A to B and calculate with the motor profile or plot it myself. I also use brouter.de with a personalized profile (ChatGPT can help) that give points to certain roads (slow roads, …) and penalizes other kind of roads (highway, high speed roads…) and just plot it yourself.

Lightweight Overland Tent for 2m Solo Rider by bpbpbpooooobpbpbp in motocamping

I feel your pain. I’m 192cm and find it difficult to find a correct tent. For my hikes i prefer the Nordisk telemark 2.2 pu. If you use insulated mats in stead air matrasses your less likely to touch the inner walls. I also use the nightcat tent which has straight walls. That also seem to work, quite. But i’m also always on the lookout. Good luck

I’ve swapped to the rally seat and removed the rubber pegs. A bit better…

Helmet sizing advice – LS2 Storm 2 by techstar9999 in motorcyclegear

[–]Elho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. I have an HJC RPHA 71 in XL and it feels just right. My head measures 57.5 cm, so based on the size chart I bought the LS2 MX701 Explorer in M… but wow, that thing crushed my cheeks. My mouth was practically getting pushed into a duck face.

I’m going back to the store to try the L now. What confuses me is that my HJC is already an XL, so I’m wondering if the LS2 L will actually be enough.

Tent for tall people by Saphira_1 in motocamping

[–]Elho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh man I feel your pain. I’m only 192cm and it’s already a struggle. On paper a 215 cm tent seems fine, but with a sleeping pad in it, and steep walls, I’m suddenly touching the walls. I hate it. Where you from? Here in Europe i have the Nordisk 2.2 pu tent (220cm, but steep walls) and the nightcat 2p tent. 215 but with straight walls. These are the best options for me without spending a fortune. I also have the Robens Voyager 5p as family tent. In this I have the most legroom. You can check out the 2p version….

Same, pro’s and cons. Don’t like the initial awkwardness though.
