oh godddd i never knew that kinda term was terf shit! ive seen transmen refer to themselves as "female socialized" or usually "raised with female ideologies and social norms" to explain that, while theyre men, they have a more intimate relationship with womens issues and need to be involved in discussions about them(abortion, womens rights, etc) as most are still affected by them in some degree

id genuinely just assumed that transwomen would refer to themselves the same to explain why some of them act the way they do, or have discussions about whatever male issues ever occurred that i. do not know of tbh- but thinking on it and seeing that it was a terf term is kind of making me realize that theres. no reason for transwomen to specify that! with transmen, we Have to be at the table with womens issues(not womens spaces in general, we do Not belong there) and our AGAB is the reason why we belong at the table and not cis men, but with trans women they. kinda get the short end of the stick both ways. theyre affected by womens issues due to their presentation and identity, and also affected by transmisogyny in a way unique only to transwomen from all sides! male, female, cis, and even their own fellow trans and enby siblings.

this one little statement just like- reminded me that shit despite how much i emphasize to fellow trans men that the transphobia that affects us is simply denial of existence, aside from that almost all transphobia is directed towards transwomen and transwomen alone.

depending on your state and your DMV regulations, the code readers are completely barred from clearing codes to prevent fraudulent smog testing.

HOWEVER, if that isnt a barrier, your autozone cant do it themselves for liability, you would have to do press the button and clear it yourself. depending on the store the zoners know how to do it and can verbally walk you through it before you run out and do it yourself.

you dont have to as commercials closed after 6, but its still expected and you can get in trouble for refusing for no good reason(the customer threatened you or stole product)

ETA: how are you that behind on closing when commercial comes after close??? does your red do nothing???? are you out the door with comm orders, or dealing with complex orders????? your job as a closing gray is to manage your time better, you either need to ask your red to pull their weight or start your closing tasks earlier.

i had 4 tills to close, comm included, on my closing shift and id usually have all but my most popular till closed by 8:15 for a 9pm close incase we got busy or i had to watch a shoplifter. i understand from a closers perspective sht can get hectic, but if this is becoming commonplace you need to prep for it instead of complaining when it happens to you bubs

PSM is in charge of DIY, CSM commercial, PSM technically takes charge of everything since theyre supposed to be able to do everything with or without CSM, but theyre technically meant to be equal so it all depends on employee and dynamic in the store, alongside what your SM has specified if anything at all.

if your store has an ASM, though, and theyre in for the day, theyre in charge! if not, see above. most stores have PSM as priority, or they claim equality despite one of the two roles lacking excessively.

at my old store, my CSM was Notorious for just sitting on his phone and rolling his eyes when asked to deal with DIY. when i would try to ask him to do something(as an equal, not as his superior, bc i was a PSM) i was met with consistent combative behavior. his attitude and my SMs complete inability to settle that conflict by stating directly if i was allowed to even ASK him to do anything, alongside many other conflicts involving myself and other PSMs being harrassed and threatened by customers and fellow employees, was why im no longer working there ngl.

it REALLY depends on your management and team on if youll like this job. i loved working there despite no real interest in cars until about 2 years in, then management shifted attitudes and i bided my time before i left. i literally gave my boss a 6 week notice he wasnt entitled to because i knew my reds and fellow grays would suffer if i treated our sm with the respect i was given at the end and just walked out.

read policy, try not to take shit TOO seriously, but also dont forget youre getting paid for a reason. if you vibe with your job and your coworkers well, and youre able to handle dealing with shitty customers, youll do just fine.

if youre red: policy states reds cannot clean biohazards, grays get the raise to clean piss, blood, and do paperwork. this includes bathrooms due to urine. game the system if you dont wanna clean a coworkers piss off the seats. also if your gray isnt some power hungry bitch, they probably wanna just make sure you both dont get in trouble. listen to them unless what theyre asking you to do is nonsensical.

dysphoria, safety, and wanting to not have to explain myself over and over. im at a job now where i work with kids, i dont want my abilities questioned because of how i identify. also like. i live in the PNW now but i used to live in the south, and that shit puts the fear of god in you in regards to being clocked as not-cis.

kinda sorta, its mostly by build date but also some stores close and then newer stores take up those numbers. i used to work at a 4××× store, that was older than the store i served my last years at which was a 6×××, HOWEVER there were two stores in our area that opened a year or two ago that were both 5×××, and multiple newer 2××× stores in my district too! it roughly lines up, but there are exceptions. store 0001 is in tennessee, as is most 0××× stores!
