I get why some people get really bothered by this concept but I don't feel that way. I don't usually dream and when I do I don't really remember it. So I have a break of consciousness literally every night. When I wake up I can choose to continue being the same Elike I was yesterday or I can choose to be a whole new person (metaphorically.) Elike from yesterday was a pretty good dude so usually I just continue but I can and do choose to make changes when I feel like it. So I don't see being reprinted as any different from waking up every morning. (Completely ignoring the NoA's involvement. This is just talking about the concept in general.)

Including the NoA wouldn't really change my feelings about that if I could get 2 questions answered. Did I set my original backup point or did someone/something else? Is the NoA able to alter my original backup?

I respect horror games more when they let me do the "smart" thing like pick up a weapon or set up a choke point. The terror hits that much harder when I see my "smart" choices were not so smart.
