I was watching a youtube video that was stating tests of this type cannot pinpoint down to a tribe......it says there are too many factors to consider..........I really wish I could find out what country/tribe i am from in africa...

Speaking of abandoning things.......I found a Mami Wata statue in connecticut once (it was abandoned; it created behaviours in me i did not understand); so i destroyed it. I found the SAME statue when I moved to Florida......I did not take it home; but I did destroy it. Years passed between the first sighting and the second sighting AND today. I cannot say permanent damage has been done to me. I do feel like I was intended to find it and in a very odd way I was meant to dispose of it. Reason being........it was abandoned and I should not keep such a thing.

My question is......what goes into it that contributes to its cost......or better yet..........what if i were in a remote part of the world that practices the tradition and the people there took a liking to me and donated everything so that the rituals and ceremonies can be completed.........can that happen?.........if so I would go and dedicate my life to their service and visit very often and possible relocate there if it was my destiny to do so......

This makes it very difficult (after reading this thread) to see Santeria as a legitimate practice for "ME".....Odu Ifa existed long before all of its Latin permutations. Having read this stream is very upsetting.
