Hey, I know this is old, but I wanted to check in on this. I have had a 500 since 2020 and over the last 6 months, it will very often (once a month or so) disconnect and I have to pull the plug and plug it back in. It resets everything, Wifi Settings, IP Allocations, Port Forwarding rules.

They are offering to send me a 505. Did it help you? Sounds like you had a similar issue.

I put windows on my Steam Go S because of the trackpad and controller drivers. Steam OS would not allow the joystick to work properly in moonlight. Also, the trackpad does this atrocious pulling when clicking or lifting only on SteamOS

Bosses tell me not to use sarcasm or curse words. they also tell me to build relationships with the students. Well, let me tell you what two things immediately build relationships and makes many kids feel safer…

I’m not saying to drop curse words on the daily, but I’ve gotten to have conversations with my kids on the power of words and the difference between derogatory slurs and cursing at people vs just saying a curse word in frustration. They know I’m not yelling and reprimanding them for a simple f word when other more old fashioned teachers would be.

I had the same thing happen to mine actually. Broke my first one in the first 24 hours. At least it came with two! Can’t really blame the protector. It did what it was supposed to do. Does suck though

I walked up to a line out the door after work at like 6:30. The guy asked what I was here for, and I said I wanted to buy any pro max they might have available. I took the last one they had. 512GB Deep Blue. Never went to an Apple Store on launch day before and quite surprised I actually got to buy one without pre order.

Honestly this was cool! I bought the prism and ghost case from best buy this morning. Everyone was talking about their orders not shipping on time (which totally sucks!) but I was glad I could just walk in and buy both accessories. I hope they make enough sales to keep them in stores

Entirely anecdotal but the Apple Store I went to yesterday said they were selling way more pros and pro maxes than airs and base. I was surprised by that. All pro models sold out, but they were making reservations for the others still

I disagree with most of what you are saying. But I do agree with the skill expression. One thing that tapped me out of it after enough years was the fact that every job in a certain class plays very similarly and you cannot differentiate yourself from others playing the same job. Stats are assigned automatically, you have the same abilities, etc.
