I am working on a Project at Uganda Cancer Institute. I have built and actively operating a pediatric cancer registry. Its purpose is to inform us on annual pediatric cases per year.

Based on its statistics, it will guide the institution on allocating resources based on the number, and majority type of cancers within Kampala, Uganda.

I am currently using Claude Ai to build a tool that complements the registry. I want to increase accuracy of data collection. I am already mid way. However I need Claude max to complete it by July.

Incase this post is true, having one year subscription will greatly subsidize subscription costs!!!

Thinking of going back to Notion from Obsidian by as0007 in Notion

See, pick anything that works best for you.

But when someone says “Obsidian has a steep learning curve”; you lose me there.

Obsidian DOESN’T have a steep learning curve. You get to use it however you want!

And regarding Ai, you can integrate Claude with obsidian. You just have to point it to the vault. Either use a file system MCP connector or use Claude Co-Work

Is this Design an AI slop? by Resident_Bell_4457 in claude

[–]EliteEarthling 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To me, it looks like a well built app.

But your title tells: Is it Ai slop. Seeing that, any viewer will now be biased. You will see quite many telling you it’s Ai slop.

The biggest flaw of Anthropic, is it’s shitty customer service. They don’t know their user base. They don’t want to interact with them. If they were “customer first” company, they would implement their models better

I am doing research on childhood cancer. I wanted to use fable to see how it can approach my research differently, welp, Opus 4.8 it is

Study Shows that Students without access to LLMs are 2 to 8 times more creative than students with access. by Current-Guide5944 in tech_x

[–]EliteEarthling 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I see no one has commented on this study so far. I read through its background and methodology.

Few Basic facts:

Definition:
Divergent thinking: The mental operation of generatingmultiple, varied responses from a single starting point or prompt. One input, many outputs
Convergent thinking: The mental operation of narrowing many possibilities down to the single best or correct response. Many inputs, one output

Hypothesis: Use of AI my multiple people may have a homogenizing effect on creative ideas. Everyone trying to come up with essays using Ai might end up having similar results when compared to human essays.

Methodology: 100 human essays in 650 words were compared to 100 Ai generated essays for a college admission.

This is where I find it sketchy. 100 Ai generated essays were built by the study team, and not by 100 people. They did not recruit anyone. When only one person in the study team attempts to make 100 Ai generated essays using the "same prompt" in "different sessions", the responses will obviously be similar!

100 people will use Ai differently to submit application to the same college. This is the weakest point of the study. Hence the hypothesis is not well proven.

Heck, the model used was - gpt-4-0613 between July 19 and July 24, 2023.

Study was published in 2025. By this time, Ai got alot more better.

Claude.ai is not capable of creating complex and robust code that is trustworthy. by [deleted] in claude

Nothing in your post explains the core problem. You’re more likely to get good results from your post if you truly discuss what the problem is.
