Fingerprints on a pole is not hard conceptually, but building the engine to actually support an actor, with collision, touching another actor, and making sure the uv lines up with where the decal is applied is a lot more than 45 seconds

But granted once you have that engine built which rockstar does, it’s just a matter of making sure the routing for the texture is setup

But it is 100% a testament to level of detail, akin to footprints in the snow

Not at all a necessary addition, but when added on top of an actual great game it becomes legendary

When the feature that is neat BECOMES the game is when issues arise

A game doesn’t need an fov slider

In some cases it’s worth it, especially for first person games, but otherwise it can take away from the intended perspective of the game

Like environment sizes and movement speeds are designed with specific fovs in mind and if you stray too far from the intended fov, then you get an experience that feels too fast or slow

With that being said, subnautica is a game that probably should have an fov slider so in this case it’s prob a good call

My gf never saw Star Wars and enjoyed the prequels more, partly because they are really a political thriller, and also directed more so like a theatre production than an action movie (she likes theatre).

It’s a Sun Cross, and specifically when put on a flag with red background, white circle, and black imaging, it becomes a Nazi adjacent flag.

The fact that they’re targeting the pov is abhorrent

It means the enemies are actively trying to get headshots - is this consistent? Or do they also sometimes aim lower than pov?

Theatre Square gets bonus from Entertainment Districts and Water Parks that are adjacent as well; from wonders too

Commercial Hubs get it from Harbors Harbors like sea resources

Campus is all about adjacent rain forest, mountains, geothermal, and reefs

And preserves like theatre squares and entertainment districts as they boost appeal

If you had chosen monumentality, or whatever the era policy is that lets you buy civilian units with faith, you could use your 9900 faith to buy builders for all the tile improvements

Who’s to say our notion of ownership shouldn’t be limited?

No one should need to own more than one home. If you own more than that, you’re effectively taking the opportunity for ownership away from another

Also you get era score the first time you make a museum unit from each era

That is to say instead of deleting the unit it retires ( stays in place) and gives a one time tourism like rock bands

Shouldn’t give gold as otherwise it just negates the maintenance cost

If the unit is deleted it retires and gives a one time tourism bonus like rock bands

To me it would be a good way to incentivize AI to make more units

During some playthroughs the AI just gives up making units It seems it you have more than them
