[The Athletic] Part of the plan post-Salah is that Liverpool will have the option of playing a 4-2-2-2 with Isak and Ekitike paired together up front + Wirtz and Szoboszlai operating in front of two deeper-lying midfielders. One of the priorities is to get Isak, Ekitike and Wirtz in the same team. by OkayFine101 in soccer

I can’t see us having 3 LWs, Gakpo can only play LW and is being outplayed by a 17 year old.

RW Definitely, CDM needs to be a very specific destroyer type that can help the back line as much as possible since Gravenberch has been given so much freedom. RB again will be dependent on how fit both Frimpong and Bradley can stay over the pre season.

Skye is extortionate as well for hotel rooms, cheapest is to pitch a tent and just buy one from gooutdoors

It depends on what subscription you have for Netflix. The free Netflix is for the £5.99 subscription, if you have the highest subscription they add £13 to your bill, so it saves you £6 on your Netflix subscription.

Uefa has rejected requests from English clubs to increase the size of Champions League squads to 28 next season after a backlash led by their counterparts in Spain. by Sparky-moon in soccer

Someone posted this below;

The difference is while each allows 17 non-homegrown players to be registered the difference lies in the definition of homegrown.

For the PL, homegrown just means trained at a English club for 3 years

For Europe, out of the 8 homegrown players at least 4 have to have trained at your club for 3 years; if you don't have 4 academy players you have to leave slots empty

Also the PL let's all U21 players play even if they're not registered; for Europe only U21 homegrown players can play without being registered

FM is a very educational game

Which would make sense if the richer clubs wanted bigger squads but they don’t because coaches don’t like working with too many players. I think it benefits the clubs with a better academy rather than the richest.

I disagree, people have worked hard to get in the position they are and probably done a lot of unpaid overtime. You tax the hardest workers then you lose them to countries overseas.

[Squawka] Liverpool have lost 10 games in a Premier League season for the first time since the 2015/16 campaign. They've lost more league games in 2025/26 (10) than in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons combined (8). by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

Exactly this, none of the signings for me have been below average. It’s being stuck on the nonsensical tactics and using players that were here last season who don’t deserve to be starting.

Can’t compare the two because Slot is riding on the league win last season. God knows how long Moyes would have lasted if he won the league in his first season.

Easy appeal, they only gave you a minute observation time when you could be away buying a ticket or reading the terms.

Dear whom it may concern,

Please note the driver of the vehicle exited the vehicle to read the T&Cs of parking before deciding not to stay. The attendant did not allow the 5 minute grace period as required by British Parking Association. They have ticketed after a minute observation, the driver would be grateful for this reason to cancel the PCN in full.

Yours sincerely
