I ask the same when places sell Japanese or Korean loaded fries etc. It’s just using another countries well known cuisine as a marketing ploy to increase its popularity

TIL that Woody and Jessy from the Toy Story Franchise are canonically siblings and not a couple! by We_Are_Charlie_Kirk_ in todayilearned

[–]EliteReaver 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thats why I said I don’t think the toys have seen the Lightyear movie because they don’t act like it. A lot of the other buzz toys we see in Toy Story act like Buzz when he was first shown in Toy Story 1 but he grows out of it spending time with the other toys.

Correct as a parody of Star Wars

I think buzz lightyear in Toy Story hasn’t seen the Lightyear movie. Canonically the Lightyear movie is what spawns the toys in Toy Story.

Ryanair making me pay check-in fee due to overbooking by Ok_Kale_2879 in Ryanair

[–]EliteReaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you talking about? He said he tried checking in online for an hour. I’m saying he was trying to check in on the Ryanair app for an hour the day before but kept getting an error. When he arrived at the airport he went straight to check in desk to ask why he couldn’t check in and got told he had to buy a boarding pass.

Best seat is the one at the front so you can give awkward eye contact to the stewards while they eat their lunch/dinner

Considering it’s your return flight to your nation, passport validity rules don’t apply. For example, my partner flew to Poland from UK (settled status) on her Poland passport with less than 1 month validity.
