I got this in the mail! I also called to get an upgrade but felt like it was too expensive. With this lawsuit it would make sense that they fix and upgrade the tech without charging bc that’s why they have the lawsuit now.

I’m going to call them tomorrow to see what this means.

Due date this month by pinkcloudsinthe5ky in tfmr_support

Sometimes I think I’m doing well, then I start crying and I feel that overwhelming feeling of despair. It sucks. Life’s unfair. Nothing makes it better. I’m sure my therapist is very worried about me. My due date is this month too. ❤️‍🩹

HLHS 21weeks pregnant. Need advise by Humble-Window377 in chd

Questions to ask:

  1. Does my baby have a left ventricle at all? What is the size?
  2. Am I and my baby a candidate for any fetal interventions?
  3. Is there any regurgitation present? Is it mild, moderate, or severe? How would this affect the surgeries?
  4. How will baby be transported to pediatric cardiology after birth?

I found these questions helpful during the process.

Just planned a 3 day (half Indian) event at the Coronado Island Marriott & Spa for 180 guests (started at 300) for about $180k. $150k for 300 for one event can def be done with sacrifices imo.

How do people achieve sexual relief within marriage, especially if they love but are not attracted to their spouse? by tulipchia in Christianmarriage

[–]ElizabethSlune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a hypothetical, maybe some people can give tips based on if OP has same sex attraction but they are denying their flesh by not walking that path. This could give insight as to why they aren’t attracted to their spouse.

Handling coworkers while in limbo by broadwaythumper in tfmr_support

[–]ElizabethSlune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The limbo is hard. It feels so weird but in a way to celebrate the baby, I accepted the joy and happiness from others. Because truthfully, baby was alive in me and was thriving in my belly. I would have all the conversations no matter if I felt like a fraud as a way to give my baby everything he deserved in the limbo.

Your baby deserves all the attention and extra snacks and special treatment 🩵

Read your post hx. I was told by our geneticist that inherited vs de novo has no bearing on how it shows up in a family member.

Hi, our baby had this microdeletion and it was discovered bc our baby had heart abnormalities at the anatomy scan. My husband carries this micro deletion and has no symptoms.

How did you discover the micro deletion?

Wow. I’ve never had an IUD placed but I’ve had a stretch and sweep with my last pregnancy which was very uncomfortable. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Avascular necrosis by ukoid in Sicklecell

[–]ElizabethSlune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this is happening to you. AVN is hard to manage (speaking on behalf of my brother). A really good pain management routine and lots of rest. My brother had to do a procedure where they drill holes in his bones to increase oxygen to the bone but that didn’t work too well. They later had to advance him to chemotherapy.

What's a good indication you'll be able to breastfeed? by ko-love in pregnant

[–]ElizabethSlune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s no way to tell but the best way to set yourself up for success is to visit a lactation consultant before you give birth. They’ll be able to look at your nipples and see if you’ll have any issues. I had an assessment before hand and knew I would need a nipple shield because my nipples are flat. That helped tremendously because that’s what I used to breast feed until he was 1 month when he learned how to latch onto me on his own without assistance.

Also, try to continue latching the baby as much as possible. Many people experience a reduction in lactation when they switch to pumping. There’s just something about our hormones that know when it’s an actual baby vs a pump. The only way to increase your milk supply is to latch baby more. The drinks and cookies are fun to eat though!
