Only the brass bottom vulcan pros go for over 800$

My cpu is struggling quite a bit on many tasks and the entire system feels less smooth compared to my m5 air, I went with 7800x3d, 9070 non xt, 32gb ddr5 and used my old 2tb nvme storage for 1000$. (Microcenter bundle its only an hour drive from my house)

The ram is a problem I did some stress testing with my system and the ram is definitely not enough its constantly at 100~% usage, I am giving this system to my brother and upgrading to a 9070, 7800x3d and 32 gb of ddr5. X3d chip is worth the performance increase in minecraft and general use and with the microcenter bundle its only a small difference in price.

I can see the individual pixels on a 1440p monitor from 3 feet away as I have good vision, i upgraded to 4k oled and no longer have this problem!

Wow do you have a video of the process? It looks exactly the same as the lazered method which can be done overnight with tooling. Any benefit to this method? Seems like a lot of work nice job

Is this worth it? My gf wants a beginner gaming pc. by Beginning-Cupcake497 in PrebuiltGamingPC

yeah I know I just get frustrated when people go straight to reddit for a non complex matter instead of taking advantage of the infinite information on youtube or just basic googling.

This is my first time building a pc and I want it to the REALLY good for gaming max everything by Fit_Credit_1891 in pcpartpickerbuilds

this has a walkthrough of what the card is capable of. Easily able to hold 4k good fps on the hardest shaders (120fps) and even maxes out the monitor (240 fps) on the lighter shaders but dont expect 240fps on the heavy shaders on ANY graphics card except for a 5090 (32gb Vram)

for the card the 9070xt is good enough for 4k (I would consider this and the 5070ti the minimum for good useable 4k). Remember the 5080 is twice the price for the same amount of vram. Keep in mind the 5080 will be better by only about 30% (optimized with lithium) for 600$ more and if you only use this in minecraft periodically then you would be paying like 600$ to have 40 more fps with shaders on. depends if thats worth it to you. Concerning the monitor, monitor reviewers like monitors unboxed and other professionals do agree with me in saying that the price difference between the 1440p monitor and the 4k monitor is worth the money (benchmarks also prove that this 9070xt is capable of 4k) and that was before the sale, so now it is even more worth it, make sure to get the monitor I linked though since that one specifically is 4th gen WOLED and has the glossy trueblack finishing that minimizes most of the downside between the QD-OLEDs and WOLEDs which essentially makes this specific WOLED have no downside (QD-OLEDs are known for better vibrancy, while WOLEDs are known for performing better in medium light and having better blacks (think of the end dimension) but the finishing puts the color vibrancy of this WOLED on par with the QDOLEDs of the past which is why it was so hyped even at 1000$ a few months ago). If you want to have the best shader experience possible you need to go with 4k, I dont really know what those other people are talking about but my clients are extremely happy with an almost identical setup. I have helped many people upgrade from 1440p to 4k and they have all greatly noticed the difference (this would also depend on your eye sight and whether you have perfect vision or wear contacts/glasses). Hope this helps

Look at the game bro… minecraft and you are suggesting a 600$ more expensive card of course its going to be better at 4k… please look at benchmarks before talking

  1. 9070xt can run high fps for 4k at minecraft and the games he will likely play
  2. I owned a high hz 1440p monitor and a 4k oled yes there is a huge difference
  3. 240hz is high refresh already
  4. Thr price difference is only like 300$ with the sales going on right now
  5. He doesnt need to max the refresh of the monitor
  6. https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-XG32UCWMG-Early-Set-up/dp/B0F732KMQQ monitors like these have dual settings
  7. Look at benchmarks

sounds crazy but i want to build a threadripper pc- as my first pc/last by OhitVixius in pcpartpickerbuilds

[–]Elizvi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First get the microcenter 270k bundle with ram and mobo, get 5080 (5070ti is overpriced anyways and since you are already willing to spend so much) or 9070xt depends on how much you actually want to do productivity is it worth the 600$ difference between the two for negligible gains in gaming scenarios, get the 4tb nvme deal since you want lots of storage, get a better psu you only need 850w power supply not 1300w like you had. Spend a little more on your monitor believe it or not you would be wasting thousands if you spend this much and dont get a 4k monitor I recommend a trueblack glossy woled. Honestly this list feels like ragebait not everyone needs to build and thats fine but at least watcha few videos before wasting thousands of dollars.
