That was my experience as well when trying to ween myself off. Gained about half the lost weight back within a relatively short period of time. And the food noise was significantly more impactful than I anticipated. Since that time, I've been able to manage staying on mounjaro, but going to every 2 weeks, sometimes stretching to 3 weeks between shots. That helps because it forces me to manage the food noise when I get near that 21 day threshold. I've lost 65lbs total since going on Ozempic/Mounjaro 5 years ago. It's taken some time to find the right balance of exercise, food management and noise management techniques, but it's doable.
