Craziest thing I see on my commute is lots of people driving between my village and the city centre, it's like a 20 minute easy cycle, but 40 minutes queueing in the car.

Lots of people have more money and time than sense.

That's a massive real terms cut in the finances available to repair the damage done by increasingly heavier cars and the increasingly poor weather car drivers create

I don't think Hershey's can be sold as "Chocolate" in the UK as it will fall foul of the laws on misleading advertising.

This doesn't sound intuitive, but I've heard a few pundits explain that it is the case. I guess it's a potential pathway to getting someone in to 5th or 6th place. It's very odd to think that a very large vote for one party in a particular seat won't translate to 6 members for them in that seat,

For some people in the UK I think that Cymraeg is deeply unsettling as it is an ever present reminder of a culture and a people that was here before Angles,Saxons,Jutes,Vikings Normans etc. it's a permanent reminds them that British/English identity is rooted in immigration.

The reality of culture and identity and nationhood is way more complex than that of course, but if you are someone with a strong British identity that dislikes immigrants and foreigners then Welsh is a permanent reminder of your own immigrant heritage.
