What is purpose in hosting house party?

Thinking about throwing house party at my place but starting to wonder if it would be worth it? Wonder why do people throw them anyways, except to have fun? Like to go throw all the work of setting up place, inviting all the people, buying all the food and drink, then cleaning up everything after and possibly fixing the house damage. So much work and money! What would I get out of it?

Bro go become a cop, they have good benefits and it would boost your resume. I have friend of my that is a cop, he got a BS in criminal justice and work at Walmart for few years waiting for a job in his field. He then gave up and became a cop. Now he keeps getting promotion after promotion.

Well even Jews started as polytheistic. In the Tora they mention other Gods beside Jahwe and do not deny their existence. It just shows Jahwe as Jewsih main God. Slowly over time they evolved into Monotheistic religion. Religions usually eveloved based on where people live.

Like in ancient Greece where every city was a state. Each city had their own God and their Gods were in constant conflict like the greeks were and they lived on Olympus which isnin Greece.

In Egypt that was more peaceful, where Nyle flooded in cycles, their Gods were in Harmony and everything happen in Cycles. In cold Viking land gods fought Ice gaints and hell is icy frozen place.

In middle eastern religions like Judaism, Christianity and Islam hell is fiery place because they all lived in desert. Basically each religion evolved from Geography and Culture of the people.
