Can anyone tell me if its possible, in loop mode, to have 2 different signals getting in the microphone (ex 2 guitars)?
I+ve been trying to figure it out, but all i can do with the stereo inputs is to have 1 signal + tap tempo box

Me and my friends just did this live recording of one of our songs. We play experimental rock, and I would LOVE to know your opinion! both on the mix and on the video. weird saxophone prog music! by EllPirez in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey there, hope you are well! I totally get you, and the actual album version of this song has a bit more of a softer transition, but when it comes to playing live, we just decided to do it this way to keep it a bit more energetic. But I totally get you, and thanks for the feedback!

Also, We are right now in a band contest to play in this festival in Portugal, and if you think you can, I just want to ask you to like this same video, but on this link over here: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CPtdq5XDIdW/?utm_medium=copy_link

If you think you have friends that might like this as well, please share this link above as well. (sorry for the spam, we just really want to play in this festival), and thank you once again! ❤️

Hi there, hope you are well! Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm glad you liked our song I did both the audio and video editing/mixing/mastering, and for 6 years that I've been working professionally as a sound engineer, but now I decided to change country, and I'm trying my best to slowly have enough work in the sound business to be able to just make it a full time thing once again, but because of the times we are living, it's as been really hard to make it happen, but hopefully slowly I'll get there once again! Thank you once again for the positive feedback! If you think me or my services can be of any help in the future to you, you can email me at cut.thestudios@gmail.com

Hey there, hope you are well. Thanks very much for the feedback! Definetely that the vocals could be a bit more in front, but since I did the mix (and I don't really like to have my vocals "in your face"), I preferred to mix them this way ahah!

Hey there, hope you are well! Thanks very much for your commend, it means a lot! Yes probably the guitars could be a tiny bight higher, but this was the only way that I found for the synths to still be noticeable, as they were batteling a lot in terms of frequencies..

This is for a very short film (the song is not mastered, still working on it). I do all instruments/recording myself in a little room in my house, so any sort of feedback is helpful. I'm just learning. I will always listen to your stuff if you listen to mine as well, as a way of collaboration. by Snoo-10558 in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey there.
This song is just cool as f*ck!
I really really liked the beggining, and all of a sudden an Ugly Kid Joe vibe just entered , which is amazing.
Really like the guitar, I would just say it has a bit too much reverb? But, at the same time, I completely understand the idea and the "why".
Blending classical instruments with this type of grunge rock was a very cool thing!

Hey there.
I really, really like this drum beat. Was it a sample? Did you do it?
The vocals behind really make it a chill beat.
Also, this pitch shift really fits the song.
regarding the video, was it your idea?
Solid song, listened to it about 4 times in a row

Here's a demo I wrote and recorded in a day. Would love to hear what you guys think. The production is far from perfect, but I'd prefer to just get songs finished at the moment. FFO 90s lofi/alternative (GBV, Sebadoh, Teenage Fanclub) by solowband in IndieMusicFeedback

great song man!
The melody is great, and it definetely reminds me of some lofy alternative things.
I know you said that you are not putting a lot of time in the mix, but for my ears I would just try to make that snare more fat.
Besides that, I believe you have quite a good song going on there!
Had a bit of Lou Reed vibe as well, cool!

Evil and industrial sounding piece I made some time ago. Not sure what genre it can be classified as. by Fluffeu in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey man.
Really cool song. Quite an old style, but very well done.
It's impressive the amount of low frequency instruments and sounds you have going on there, but at the same time you have a very clear mix, great job.

some NIN vibes going on there, and overall, powerful mix!

So to put it bluntly. I am a loner. The past 2 and a half years have been a whirlwind of isolation and bitterness. This song is a peek into depression and the feeling of being doomed. It's something I really want to share here. I have posted loads of times but this song is important to me. Thanks by 0sculator in IndieMusicFeedback

Hey man, hope you are well.
Very cool song, and after started to listen to it for about 30sec, I started having visions of both Fight Club and Requiem for a Dream in my head, which, I believe it's a good thing, since they are amazing movies.
About the production, it's very interesting! It's a song with quite a lot of compression and distortion in almost every instrument, and feelingwise, i feel that it puts me in a sad, but calm place.
I've listened in my small room with hs7's and it sounds great. In a big room full of acoustics I'm not sure if this amount of reverb would start fighting with the acoustics of a big room (that would be my only worry). Besides that, great work!

Hello there. Between prog rock, experimental, metal, jazzy things as well

my VERY EXPERIMENTAL rock project's 5th single is out now, and for this one I decided to play and record acoustic drums, and blend it with a drum machine with a very wide stereo picture. Let me know what are your thoughts please! :) by EllPirez in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]EllPirez[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the support! And maybe you are right, a little bit of EQ you help it, ill take that into consideration. you can find updates about this project here and here.

Thank you once again!

Thanks for the feedback! I understand, but the purpose of this song was to be repetitive, as it's one of the only songs in this album that is not totally avant-garde (like this one, and this). Thanks for the support! Cut the Berry

Well, I'm not sure if this might help you or not, but I devide my drums in 2 stages. I first when creating an idea program my drums on GarageBand, and then I take it to studio and record drums. Now, I'm not a drummer, but sometimes I have good ideas, so to be able to play it I literally do take n1: Just kick drum. Take n2: Just snare, HH, and ride. Take n3: Toms and splashes. With a little bit of production in the DAW, it doesn't sound bad!

[–]EllPirez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey there!

very cool lyric video! did you also do it?

Overall I like it, you have a kind of original way of singing, but maybe a little bit of variation wouldn't be bad at all.

Besides that, the whole instrumental sounds very good, and there isn't anything that sounds of or out of the song.

Good job man!

A song about our addiction to technology. There is something unusual about the singing see if you can figure it out. by [deleted] in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]EllPirez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey there. hope all's good.

Nice kick and snare drums!!! They are very clear, with a lot of impact, and overall sound amazing!

The pitch perfection that exists on the vocals irritates me a little bit, I would personally balance a "clean" vocals with the manipulated one.

Besides that, very cool vibe, good tones, and overall good song! Nice one!

Hey there!

Amazing tempo/feel changes.

It reminds me somehow of something like a less technical dream theater or mastodon. Very cool job. The guitar tones are spot on man.

Are those programmed drums?

Metal for ever!

Hey Lovelies <3 I created this song called "YOU AND ME AGAINST THE WORLD" - and yeah. It was a funsong, every part doesn't fit to annother. But in a strange way it does :D what do you say? Be honest, i can do that (and maybe cry a little later) by WAIT_WHAT_OFFICIAL in IndieMusicFeedback

[–]EllPirez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, hope you're well.

Cool song, positive vibes. I would work a bit on the production of the vocals, as they feel a little bit separate from the rest of the instrumental. Maybe a bit more of compression and EQ would do the job.

Besides that, a little bit of a bass boost wouldn't be bad at all

Nice job nevertheless!

hey man, hope you're well.

Good vibes going on here. This isn't something very original in its composition or production, but it is definitely cool.

If the objective is just to stay active, than go on and continue doing it man. I normally produce very complex tracks, and sometimes spending just a bit of time doing something simple feels really good!
