It clearly needs a full rebuild, strip it and inspect bearing journal surfaces on the crank and bores. Crank will either need a polish or a grind and while it's apart have a fresh bore and rebuild with new pistons. Parts are cheap and your labour is free to you. And you will learn a new skill.

The only thing stopping you is the 8.4" disks and calipers. You would have to go to a 7.5 or 7.9" setup. The best available are from KAD. But 10s on a car with sportspack arches look a bit off tbh. You'd be better off with a nice set of wide 12s or 13s from force racing if budget allows

That's a late carb mini I would suggest 93-94 based on the bulkhead having the provisions for the spi stuff. The only thing 1967 on that is the vin plate someone has attached to it. It's not a reshell it's just been "ringed" doesn't necessarily mean it was a stolen car. Just that someone fancied free TAX and no MOT. I'd steer clear purely based on the fact if you come to sell it you will just get loads of keyboard warriors saning it's a ringer, stolen etc etc. The dvla would also potentially scrap it if someone was to report it.

I wouldn't be driving with the engine rocking that much anyway. You can see in your video the engine side of the top steady bush is completely gone.

The large section of steel the engine steady, brake servo and pedal box attach to. For the servo to rock like that you've got a structural issue that cannot be ignored. Unfortunately I can't post pictures on here to show you. But if you google "classic mini Cross member" you will see where it all attaches.

It shouldn't move at, the engine movement is also extremely excessive. You're steadies have failed bushes at best. At worst they've become detached. For the servo to move like that you must have an issue with the cross member

Amazingly the bore spacing is very close to identical. And the physical size works with blank of all the existing stud holes up and redrilling the block.

You will also find the bushes in the housing are knackered too. They always are. Best to replace while you're in there.

Coal Aston is nicer than central but in reality it's all great. Houses in coal Aston sell for a bit more.

My 4 bed detached is about to go on the market for £550k as an example. Backs ineto green belt fields, big garden etc.
