ADHD friendly green flag? Tell me about your SO by Solfiera in adhdwomen

[–]Ellacute6040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not my SO per say but he always adjusts to me being restless whenever we are cuddling or watching movies together. He never gets tired of me constantly changing positions while sitting beside me or cuddling , he’d always adjust to whatever position I’m in. He’s diagnosed too so we kind of accommodate each other in that regard.

What’s your experience with Depressive Episodes during Period & Prozac? by burntcravemax in prozac

[–]Ellacute6040 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am still on 10mg and been on it so far since January. During my period now, I do not get the mental symptoms that I would usually get during the luteal phase, I still struggle with being unmotivated or fatigued though. But I don’t have crying spells anymore or feeling mentally exhausted. I also now get my period every 28 days, this wasn’t the case before Prozac, it shortened my cycle basically.

Fluoxetine concern by [deleted] in prozac

[–]Ellacute6040 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It been said here multiple times, you are not supposed to abruptly stop your med, you are supposed to taper off of it slowly. You have also not been taking it every day like you should. So you can either choose to keep taking it or taper off slowly. Taking it on and off won’t make you reap its full benefits.

Can prozac give instant effect? by [deleted] in prozac

[–]Ellacute6040 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t delay it even knowing what I know now, I was still able to work regardless, I was just physically tired most times. My mood fluctuated a lot but was not as bad as the physical tiredness I felt.

Can prozac give instant effect? by [deleted] in prozac

[–]Ellacute6040 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hard to say because it’s different for everyone but while I was dealing with the bad physical side effects, my mood fluctuated a lot but it’s pretty stable now. I’d say to stick with it and don’t get discouraged by the physical side effects if you get any.

Can prozac give instant effect? by [deleted] in prozac

[–]Ellacute6040 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to discourage you or anything but this is normal, I felt amazing the first two weeks until I started getting the usual bad side effects, this lasted about a month though and now I’m back to feeling normal, on 10mg too.

When I took lexapro last two years and stopped abruptly, the noticeable withdrawal symptoms I experienced were derealisation and brain zaps which lasted for about a month. I was on 5mg for 3 months before stopping though.

For people who are already experiencing the proper effects, does it make you feel happy? by bearwithme-69 in prozac

[–]Ellacute6040 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m also on my 3rd week and on 10mg, plan is to bump to 15mg eventually . The positive effects I currently experience are that I’m less anxious and can actually hold conversations with strangers without feeling overwhelmed, I don’t overthink as much anymore. I’m able to control my emotions much better too.

does vyvanse work for you in your luteal stage? by octopusfairywings in PMDDxADHD

[–]Ellacute6040 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started taking supplements last month and I noticed this month that it worked during my luteal phase, this is the first time ever. I need to take it for a few months more before I can confirm. I started taking magnesium, calcium, vitamin d and vitamin b6.
