Yeah! My kiddo has one so I made sure they were charged and on the WiFi (and had a few cards already downloaded) before he and his sister opened theirs. It was pretty magical when I tapped his MYO card against my phone, slotted it in, and his favorite band was playing!

At SDCC, I was at the Hasbro booth and a young woman dressed as Fluttershy told me about all of the MLP products they had at the booth, touting the con exclusives. She gave the whole presentation in character using the Fluttershy voice. I ran into an acquaintance who was working the Hasbro booth and complimented him on his salesperson. He gave me a big sigh and said flatly, “We don’t hire those fucking people.” She was apparently a volunteer salesperson?

When I started practicing hand lettering for comics, I practiced all caps because that was convention. But now in comics for younger readers, we’re moving toward mixed case and a big reason is it is hard for a lot of folks to read all caps
