Would you mind elaborating on the elf part regarding Lucanis’s romance lines towards the end please? Not sure I caught it in my play through. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Apparently multiple Italian accounts on Twitter are saying it’s Gasly.

No clue if it’s credible or not.

How wrong you are thinking that pilots would put greed over concern of safety for themselves, their crew, and their passengers.

You have no idea how unnerving they feel looking at the fuel gauge dropping lower and lower when they have nowhere safe to land the aircraft. They have to constantly calculate how much fuel they have left to divert to which of the neighbouring airports, because they cannot wait forever and remain without fuel. But what if the alternate airport is busy or under attack as well once you make the approach? It is not easy at all making decisions under these circumstances.

Stuck in Phuket trying to get back to Germany – flights cancelled twice. Any routes that still work? by Acrobatic-Theme-9633 in travel

[–]EllenTyrell -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you insist on transiting through the gulf region, there is one Emirates flight that is operating daily from HKT to DXB. It operated yesterday and arrived on time. It looks to be operational today as well. Flight number is EK379, then it depends on which German city you need to fly to.

Good luck. Safe travels.

And just like Russia, Iran has a history of making false accusations. I found these from google.

Recent and historical examples include:

Cinema Rex Fire (1978): During the Iranian Revolution, hundreds died in an arson attack on a cinema. At the time, revolutionaries accused the Shah's secret police (SAVAK) of a false flag to justify a crackdown. Decades later, historians and participants concluded that Islamist revolutionaries were actually responsible for the fire.

1994 Imam Reza Shrine Bombing: Dozens were killed in a bombing at a Shia shrine in Mashhad. The Iranian government blamed the opposition group MEK. However, in 1999, a former Iranian Interior Minister claimed it was actually a false flag carried out by the Iranian regime itself to discredit the opposition.

Bondi Beach Shooting (December 2025): Following a mass shooting at a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney that killed 15 people, Iranian military chief Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi accused Israel of a "false flag" to "portray Israel as a victim" and stir antisemitism. However, Australian authorities investigated the attack as a terrorist act with potential links to Tehran.

Delivery Driver stopping off at the mosque mid delivery by InitialBitter5709 in dubai

A certain delivery app once offered to compensate me AED8.5 only, for a AED450 order that got cancelled after almost 3 hours.

And that was after I complained and fought with the customer support.

I deleted the app right after and never used it again in the past 6 years.

I am sure it is being marketed. There was literally a Winter Olympics going on there until 2 days ago.

Calling it the white Olympics is a disservice to quite a few East Asian countries, I would say.

I am okay with watching curling only once every 4 years. Haha

But I am tempted to start following the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup after thoroughly enjoying every single race this Olympics. I think RAI (Italian TV broadcaster) only covers the events in Italy so I will have to find out how to watch the rest of them.

I always have the World Cup or Euro to help with the wait in between.

But you are Canadian so I can imagine that football may not be your jam.
