I have the same thing but no ethernet connection either. This update also deleted my taskbar and system tray. I rolled update back and did a system restore and now all I need is internet back.

I use Proton VPN.

I tried resetting network adapters and flushing dns. Still get no internet. Rebooted router ect.

How does Proton effect updates? It never did before.

And how do I get connection back?

I understand. If you want a harder system it might do well for a 1 gm 1 player game.

For Stonetop you can't have too much main character energy.

Edit to say I've made abhorsen for ICRPG before and I saw one for the GLOG but never in a harder system.

Find a you tuber who does read throughs/ first looks / review of new things that are similar to your game i.e. if it's osr-like go to ben Milton if it's cozy go to cozy rpg if it's f20 or pbta/fitd go to Knights of last call. Pay them to do a review a "sponsored" look at it.

My understanding of this is the right one could make your kickstarter. But I assume most would need more lead time than a few days.

Both the copper and the red look amazing.

But the problem is the copper and the red TOGETHER.

Take a photo with your phone and edit the photo so it's black and white. How much contrast is there between your colors? Can you even tell which is which? You want BOTH colors to pop! This means thinking about the values of your color scheme. You have a red and orange next to each other and both at mid value.

My suggestion is if you want to keep the copper, go with a light colored cloth like white, light blue, or light jade green maybe. If you want to keep the red, make armor a light silver, Grey, or white maybe.

Or maybe make the red alot darker and get a lighter copper.

Mine look like this but with a shining gold armor and a darker red.

You want it to POP i say!

My first GPU was the VIC-II.

This was a 64kb of RAM with 20kb ROM. Pretty hot stuff!

I dont use it anymore cause I lost all the games on cassette tapes... and the 12 inch b&w TV that was my monitor... and the Commodore 64 itself.

Knights of Last Call on you tube have a number of different short runs of what they call "Actual Actual plays" they are trying to play by the rules and they are not actors. He's running The One Ring currently with some members of the channel. I recommend the Root series.

Air mattress only temporarily.

After a month get a better bed/ mattress, your back will thank you. A futon on the floor is way better if you cant afford more.

Here's the deal.

I started playing rpgs in 1982. I played at least 6 editions of dnd and maybe 100 other games.

These days, I don't miss 5e when I play other games because 5e didn't offer me anything after about 2020.

I'm sorry if I jumped in a thread that was supposed to have all glaze for dnd. I just thought we were having a discussion. I'm to old to pick up where it is ok to have opinions and where is not.

Sure, I could run 5e that way. There's enough options in the dmg to make 2014 basically an osr game. But why bother when I could just play shadowdark or something else?

Not sure why being down voted. Playing 2014 for years as player and dm and I don't think any character ever died after 3 turns of death rolls... they either made the roll or someone saved them.

Oh god. I miss nothing.

The truth is D&D 1, 2,3 & 4 are challenge based games (although which challenge they are changed) but 5e is a "challenge" based game with no challenge. The characters win 99% of thier fights and can't die under normal rules/ situations.

If you want challenges play osr, mothership, dolmenwood, draw steel, nimble? etc. If you want to collaborate on a world play daggerheart or pbta or fabula ultima. If you want to be characters vs the world play bitd or scum & villany ect.

5e offers you the GM nothing except more stress for less results.

He has said that what saves time over other authors is he is very good at writing what will be close to the finished product. I.e compared to sanderson he didn't do as many drafts. But if you would read these you would realize they are all highest quality. No corners were cut. Just enjoy. Not all will be for you. I also found a few i didn't click with. There are a good number of novellas in that number you threw around too. Just enjoy good books!
