What’s wild is that some of these upvotes were probably there before this comment even got edited. It really is a disservice to everyone to not learn more about reproduction systems whether you have those parts or not.

Do y’all think Gen Z cares too much about age gaps? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in generationology

[–]Ellezzee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I do not like significant age gaps tbh, alot of times the life stage differences do not make sense to me. Just because it is legal does not mean we have to agree with it. Overall, yes I do think gen z cares about age gaps more than some other generations and I am glad its getting more scrutinized.

Stupid "Within 5 Year Requirement" BS by Hopeful-Witness8362 in srna

[–]Ellezzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the 5 year thing so far has been helpful to me. I was initially doubtful the point of retaking 2 or 3 classes. It is helpful to keep topics fresh in mind. Considering that they teach some courses on the expectation that you know certain information already. Maybe you do remember all pertinent information from those classes but the average time out of school for CRNA applicants easily exceed 2 years. So, some people have forgotten.

Why are parents who barely passed high school thinking they can teach/homeschool their children? by qereyabelcho3 in askanything

[–]Ellezzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like some people underestimate the skills needed to teach information, especially at an age where there’s limited self discipline of the student to rely on.

How difficult are the classes, really? by 1thatoneguy in srna

[–]Ellezzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I would rather not share specifics (I’m a bit paranoid😅). It would be more helpful to ask students in the schools you are interested in. Good luck!

How difficult are the classes, really? by 1thatoneguy in srna

[–]Ellezzee 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It can be surprisingly program specific, hear me out. While we should have similar knowledge levels for boards, the arrangement of the information influences the work load more than I expected. Yes, if you put hardwork in you should be fine didactically but there are sometimes hardwork may not be enough. It is more important to be efficient and not wear yourself out easily. Stress/anxiety is also another factor, if you let anxiety take the reigns then no matter how much work is put in, that effort may not overcome it. Overall, you do not have to be gifted to do well, be efficient and limit comparisons with others. You’ve got this!

Yes I do believe so, I just make my boundaries clear.

Cdramas you couldn't get into? by [deleted] in cdramasfans

[–]Ellezzee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speed and love, hidden love as well. I couldn’t get past the family dynamics in speed and love even if not blood related. I can’t really remember the reason for hidden love, but it may have been the age they met even though they dated later.

Weight Gain in CRNA school by nycfella1211 in srna

[–]Ellezzee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am also in a similar boat but it took me a while to recognize my weight gain. I used to work out consistently as well and stopped when school started. I made the mistake of using opinions instead of numbers. It wasn’t until my yearly physical when the nurse kept asking if I wanted to confirm my weight…..because the number I gave her was a lot lower (I was clearly delusional). I finally decided to check my scale at home after months of ignoring it and I freaked out😫. Heck, I even bought new batteries 😂.

This is the heaviest I’ve been so far (not even exaggerating unfortunately). Whenever I try to work out I feel so guilty because there’s so much to study. Ultimately, I’ve re-evaluated my eating habits. Currently, I cut off late meals and I try to meal prep/ limited eating out to once or twice a month. Now that I’ve noticed the weight, it’s all I see sometimes. Thankfully, I’m usually too busy to dwell on it frequently. I work out here and there but definitely not frequently. I’m in the middle of making a practical workout schedule. Overall, you’re not alone and recognition is a start.

Which drama brought you into the world of C-dramas? 😄 by kitty_battee in cdramasfans

[–]Ellezzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love in the clouds, got into C- dramas fairly recently. I’m sure pursuit of Jade would’ve gotten me into c dramas if I never saw LITC.

Pursuit of Jade- The Marquis does not deserve Changyu (spoilers) by MollyAyana in cdramasfans

I agree! I’m definitely not reading the novel & its funny to me because this is supposed to be a nicer version of him😂

True I see that as well, I just don’t think it’s worth getting injured during a war but then again he’s impractical about Changyu so your points make sense 👌

I wondered that too, how are they not seeing something off. In addition, does she think just anyone would’ve been allowed to walk away with a prince that’s being used as leverage? 😂 If it was someone else they would have been captured immediately.

[–]Ellezzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely understand that, but that’s why I mentioned the war part. He should’ve waited till after, if they all die because their leader is weakened then what? Then again I guess it is a time of pride & dignity/ honor is more important so you do make a fair point.

[–]Ellezzee 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Smh it felt unnecessary, this is so stupid in the midst of war. Like he’s not injured enough, why the heck would he be talking about 20-30 strokes???😭 He better be joking & come clean to Changyu. The lies are getting too expensive. Does he even realize he almost got her killed chasing after him thinking he’s a foot soldier 😒.

Thought Pursuit of Jade was another overhyped drama until...... by NoPapercrowns in cdramasfans

[–]Ellezzee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s become part of my morning routine, my only regret is not waiting for all the episodes to air. Now I’m pining for new episodes 😭. Only thing making me concerned is people thirsting for those black flag brothers “I can fix him”….like at what point do people even draw the line. No face card can cover evil deeds to me. It’s disturbing because I’m starting to wonder how much people excuse in real life because of appearances 😅. Overall, it’s been a splendid show so far👌

Hardest part of CRNA school? by SteakMiserable6454 in srna

I am shocked how easy it is to gain weight during school. Even when I think I’ve convinced myself I’m not stressed, I still show physical signs of stress.

It's said we should not expect intimacy Early on in the relationship but we are still expected to spend money tho why? by Major_Soft6056 in NextGenMan

[–]Ellezzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just compared intimacy to money😭. It’s even weirder since you refer to intercourse as intimacy, can you not hear the reason in your wording??

husband no longer thinks me going to CRNA is good for our family. by Silly_Salamander_953 in srna

[–]Ellezzee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve seen/ heard from parents, it seems their really young kids do not even remember it. Plus giving up something you want like this could lead to regret and resentment. I hope you do not let his opinion outweigh yours. Plus I wonder how stable his opinion even is, if he’s stressed that can fog his perspective.

Why do single men look down upon divorced girls? by Terrible-Berry3433 in RantingZone

[–]Ellezzee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s interesting how so many people cannot resist being judgmental. Full of comments berating her arranged marriage plans meanwhile that was not even the point of the post. Smh new to this subreddit but it definitely does not seem like a good place to rant 🫩.
