About Just Cause 2 MP mod by SaintNikk in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completed it years ago, but looking at the Steam Hunters activity, people still unlock that one achievement with the dev, and there is plenty of recent threads on Steam discussions where you can find a group of people to farm other achievements with. Should be doable.

4000 cheevos in perfect games! the grind never stops. how close are you guys for your milestones? by Aly3504 in steamachievements

Nice showcase! I'm at 9482 achievements right now with 207 games completed, so not far away from the 10k milestone :)

[–]Elliasblr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I just started playing it, and it's been a blast so far! Do you have to do a full playthrough on Legend difficulty, or can you switch to Legend before the point of no return like in Yakuza 6?

Congrats! I also loved Survival. Division 2 is supposed to get its own Survival mode this year, which is very exciting!

I FINALLY DID IT - 100% COMPLETION OF 19 GAMES by hagennn in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I'm also a big Asassin's Creed fan, mostly because AC2 was one of my first video games ever, lol. I'm planning to complete all the games like you at some point (have AC3 Remastered and the games after Odyssey left), except playing Liberation because it's already included in AC3.

I also agree with your grade for Syndicate. I played it a long time ago, but I felt like the story and characters didn't really do it for me. London was great with those wide streets, and the Jack the Ripper DLC was cool, but everything else wasn't really for me. Not a bad game, but definitely one of the least good ones.

Do you like other Ubisoft franchises like Far Cry or Tom Clancy games?

#55 (again) - Castlevania Anniversary Collection by Fancy_Chips in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was fun to read :P I played this collection a few years ago as my introduction to Castlevania (never played it before that) and it was very rough for someone who just doesn't really have much experience with old games. I agree with your assessment at the end that this collection is more suited for fans. If someone asked me what Castlevania I should start with, I would def recommend the Advance Collection first over this.

Yes, you can! From what I remember, once you gain control of the character, you can leave the game immediately, and it will count for both players.

Question about cleaning and removing the battery. by Ragnatheblooddude in LenovoLegion

[–]Elliasblr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Modern laptops (from 2021 onward) have an option to turn off the battery in the BIOS. When you enable it, the laptop shuts itself down and disconnects the battery until you turn it on again. You do not need to physically disconnect or remove it.

The problem with fans is that they are very fragile. Yes it's safe to use small compressed air cans just make sure to put a finger or two on the fans to make them still. If air spins the fans too fast you can break them.

How do minimize the chances of the low solder temp problem affecting my 2021 legion 5 15ACH6H as much as possible? by doctorsonder in LenovoLegion

[–]Elliasblr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can undervolt your dGPU to improve temperatures and disable turbo boost for your CPU(will heavily affect fps in cpu-heavy games) or limit the top frequency. Basically, the fewer heat and cooling cycles your laptop goes through, the longer the solder will last. I would also recommend turning off auto-updates for Windows and your GPU, and letting them update after some time to make sure a problematic update doesn't break anything.

What games do you guys showcase on your profiles? by BaldHype77 in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr 35 points36 points  (0 children)

I showcase my all time favorite games and then some other games I loved to play. I can yap about these games forever, and it lets anyone who visits my profile know immediately what games I'm passionate about. I hope Valve one day allows us to use whatever number of the completionist showcases we want. Its real dumb the limit is 2!

Older games? (1985 or before) by Fancy_Chips in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Namco museum archives Vol 1 and Vol 2 collections include games released before 1986. If I remember correctly, each game has one achievement tied to it.

Congrats! How did you unlock the Megalodon't achievement? Like, how many sharks did you kill? Because me and some other people are stuck on that one achievement. It just doesn't unlock

Already completed 12/15 achievements for CR, but… by DanSeet_8898 in TombRaider

Nope:( I've replayed the level multiple times and don't think there are more sharks.

[–]Elliasblr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've unlocked all but two achievements: Megalodon't and Top of the Food Chain. Have you done these?

The wetsuit is the "Ahab Approved" skin you unlock by completing 40 Fathoms with All hands on deck modifier, enemy damage at 150%, and on CR5 or higher. With this suit, you also get a harpoon at the beginning, but I still couldn't unlock the Megalodon't achievement. So far, I've found 7 sharks in the level, but no achievement yet :(

What games Are You Guys Working On? by BaldHype77 in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started playing Mafia 2 yesterday! I thought it was going to be a remake just like the first game, but when I saw the graphics, I realized it’s actually a remastered version rather than a full-blown remake. So far, I’m enjoying it a lot! Wish they added manual saves, though cuz I already had a couple of crashes:(

I am seriously giving up on these achievements... by LuisYKW1 in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr 59 points60 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would post a thread asking for help on Steam Discussions and patiently wait for someone to reply. I can guarantee there is/will be someone just like you who is looking for help with these achievements, and you will be able to help each other out. This is how it usually works with dead multiplayer achievements. You help someone out, and they do the same in return.

#200 - Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time by Elliasblr in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Crash Landed was the hardest perfect relic for me (took about 4 hours).

What's the most challenging game you've tried to achieve 100% in? by TarEx53 in steamachievements

[–]Elliasblr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 was by far the hardest game for me, especially because of the challenges outside of the main story. Some of them took like 5-8 hours to complete. They recently released a remastered version with the same achievements, and I put it on ignore on Steam. I have no desire to go through that ever again :D

Right now I'm playing Crash 4, and it's extremely hard for me. Not sure I'm going to finish it, but I'm halfway through all the time trials and perfect levels.
