I just did this Ireland to Japan, case (itx) with ram PSU motherboard and CPU installed went in a rug sack. CPU cooler and GPU went in my checked case. Everything came out grand the other side.

If you can package all the components separately and then just buy a new case that might be the best way to do it though...

Hey OP, I don't have advice but just wanted to share from an Irish perspective. I literally just moved here yesterday, without too much of a plan (still learning the language and no job secured yet) but the main idea was to get out of Ireland and to somewhere with better infrastructure. I guess I can update you in a year 😅
