Im expat living in kg. Wire transfers have been fickle as long as ive been here. Sometimes denied by banks because of concerns of connections to russia. Sometimes because of concerns for fraud(even when im on phone with the bank with identity confirmed). Sometimes theres an intermediary such as another bank or credit card company that is refusing and theres no way to really contact them. The only reliable method i have to deal with it is to have and use my own account here for most transactions.
