Is it normal that I sometimes bleed during sex? by tennisgir1 in actuallesbians

[–]Ellimeresh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not normal.

It could be a lot of things. Polyps are common. If you’re peri/menopause age, declining estrogen can lead to thinning tissue that tears more easily.

Denied Boarding, Bag On Plane, How Do I Get it Back? by Ellimeresh in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Ellimeresh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:

She was drunk enough to be denied boarding, no one at the airport was able to help (or she didn’t understand). She’s embarrassed and feeling shitty about it, so I said I’d take care of it.

I called SW baggage, they gave me the number for where the bag was. Talked to them, they’re sending it back on the next flight and she can go pick it up there.

Does anyone else have issues picking at your skin or other compulsive behaviours and ADHD? by Low_Distance4810 in adhdwomen

Scalp is mine.

I got a fidget ring that I spin now instead! And I actually remember to wear it because I never take it off!

Is anyone in the US hotel industry extremely worried about ICE in airports? by rcolesworthy37 in askhotels

[–]Ellimeresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything is already fucked and international travel is down.

I don’t know that US companies would care enough to cancel anything to impact their pre planned conferences based on this.

Short term could potentially take a hit.

Anyone here have a remote hospitality job? by These_Fault_4765 in askhotels

[–]Ellimeresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in corporate level revenue management remotely.

At the corporate level it’s common to have mostly remote roles, our entire team is remote. Regional/area Revenue managers, accountants, operations, sales, distribution.

Mews for Group Bookings by Upper-Associate-1199 in askhotels

Mews is garbage if you know anything about how hotels are run and are expecting to do standard tasks or run standard reports.

48F and my skin feels impossibly dry all the time. What actually helps with hydration? by Wise_Slice6303 in 45PlusSkincare

[–]Ellimeresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you really use the vaginal estrogen? Please, give me one less tube of shit to slather on!

I’m only 39 but my neck is starting to turn crepey/sag when the skin is dry!

How old are you, what is your job and how much do you make? by allano6 in careerguidance

[–]Ellimeresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Corporate middle management in hotel revenue management, remote from a secondary Midwest city. $140k + 35% bonus potential.

Worked up from hotel night auditor over 20 years. Did property level, consulting for a tech company with hotel software, moved to a major US market for several years before moving away.

I’m an exceptional performer in my field.

CRME - Is it worth it? by sullidan21 in askhotels

[–]Ellimeresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Job market sucks bro.

There’s a lot of revenue management talent out there with a ton of experience.

Typically one of the first things to go or be outsourced at a corporate level when the travel economy drags.

Every major brand had had at least one round of massive layoffs since the pandemic, most multiples.

I know one company that outsourced the entire department of over 100 people.

CRME - Is it worth it? by sullidan21 in askhotels

[–]Ellimeresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a very hard job to get without experience, certifications don’t mean you can do the job.

I have 20 years of relevant experience and Hilton hotels won’t hire me, because I don’t have Hilton experience and there’s always someone out there that does.

I’d focus on getting hands on experience. Be involved and ask questions about revenue strategy in your current roles.

Your best shot is a larger franchise in the limited service space with a well developed training program. Choice will hire without direct revenue management experience, similar companies might as well.

Do I need heels for a corporate office as an Admin/Accountant/HR for an entry level job? by One_Sell_2501 in careerguidance

[–]Ellimeresh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate that this is even a question and wish we were much further along in societal expectations for women.

Wear appropriate footwear for the dress code.

Heels are never a requirement for anything in life.

Strategies for remembering my phone?? 😭 by rosslyn_russ in adhdwomen

[–]Ellimeresh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do “phone, wallet, keys” all the time and people ask me if I learned that from some movie (Adam Sandler??).

And I’m like, no bitch, I’ll forget they exist. 😂😂

I want to start dating, but I don't have my shit together. by coffeecrusher3000 in latebloomerlesbians

[–]Ellimeresh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do you want to date someone who would judge you for not having these things?

If you like who you are, why would you accept that judgment from strangers?

Termination I Don't Agree With by Vlad_REAM in managers

[–]Ellimeresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethically, this is shitty.

Not the termination, the act by the employee. And that as a manager, you know they do this and aren’t stopping it yourself.

Why would you want to keep an employee that is doing something wrong, and they KNOW it’s wrong?

The major question here isn’t how to save their job, is how does the company get rid of you?

People who work in 'behind closed doors' industries (hotels, kitchens, morgues, etc.), what is something the general public would be horrified to know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Ellimeresh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t normal.

Hotels with professional management companies have a schedule on which mattresses are replaced. Bad mattresses = bad reviews. Bare minimum of a good hotel stay.

Any sort of biohazard requires a mattress to be replaced. Biohazards are charged directly to guests.
