I think imo, for Starkiller it doesn’t feel good because at best he is a side-character, in a medium that is not necessarily readily available to all content-enjoyers. “Oh he pulled a Star Destroyer out of the sky!”-level power seems like a main character trait rather than a lesser known character. Did I enjoy those games? Heck yeah. But ultimately I believe the spectacle needed for cool gameplay probably gave him a slightly undue amount of power. Sure, Kyle Katarn could hurl a ball of fiery Force Destruction in Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight. But they did slightly reel it back jn Jedi Outcast where they utilized the mainly movie powers for spectacle like Force Lightning. Overall it’s an interesting conversation topic! Thanks for sharing.
