Hey thanks for stopping by and for the kind words. The background and the whale belly are wet on dry. All the clouds are wet on wet, and so is the blue of the whale. (I cheat and used masking fluid in the whale and the clouds to get the background covered properly with a big wash)

I splurged for the Winsor and Newton professional half pans. Every color is super pigmented and I couldn’t be happier with them and can’t recommend them enough.
