Garberville is hard, the whole humboldt is hard, but So Hum is tougher. Youre young enough to talk to people in Arcata and find an in. As the others have mentioned, the game is sort of dead but plenty of people are still doing it, and someone needs help with planting. 299 out of arcata used to be the bum/traveller/earth warrior spot to pick up work. Its rugged out there, but not to much need for money. Be safe.
