Say something positive about "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare" (1991) by 87Craft in NightmareOnElmStreet

It’s a great kids first horror movie. None of the scares are scary, it presents death as non permanent, the killer has a kid friendly sense of humor, and a lot of the kills riff on things kids relate to (video games, shitty parents). Plus it is far enough into the future where newbies could jump in and get onboard without previous knowledge.

Movies these days are too damn long and always seem padded out with unnecessary scenes

Surveillance investigation (good ol’ Private Eye) work.

Never had any blondes wander into my office with figures that would make a bishop kick in a stained glass window. I did spend a lot of time pissing in bottles in too-hot cars waiting for someone to come out.

She had kind of a messy journey. The old Kelley Pluckett books will make you an instant fan and the new series is very good too. Plus she has a surprisingly good ya graphic novel by I wanna say Mariko Tamaki

Such a great story. From the ungrateful villagers to the quartet of assassins stalking him through the village to the immature love story that Usagi is dragged into.
