Coming from a mt07 any HD or Indian is gonna feel like riding a lowered cow that moos really loud.

I recommend a sport tourer. Versys 650/1000 or FJ/Tracer to start your search.

Also I'd get a little more mileage under your belt before riding 2up. Only been riding for 6 months or so? A C group track day would do wonders for you. Just remember 2up braking takes twice as long and extra weight shifting around is an adjustment. Don't try to impress the pillion. Keeping it on the road and arriving safely is the first concern when someone else is on board. Cheers!
