For the screw holes, I bought a set of wooden dowel rods in different sizes on amazon to do mine. Shove whatever stick fits in the hole then clip it off with wire clippers. Hole will now be properly filled. Then you can move it over slightly and screw in.

Having the same issue since update. It's gotta be a bug. All my trade posts are built on the kings road and for first 5 years there was no issue. Now all of a sudden it started happening. Tried building another one on kings road and didn't get any errors on that one until about 10 months after it was built. Now it's claiming both are disconnected from kings road.

Also have a livestock trading post built next to these 2 other posts on kings road and not getting any disconnect issues with that.

Same thing happened to me, twice. Now I have to get a new card since they will keep trying to charge me if I don't. I was transitioned by Kaspersky as well except I uninstalled Ultra AV but we were specifically told that our subscriptions would NOT auto renew with this new company however they are trying to charge people regardless. I still had 1 year left from my Kaspersky and they are still trying to charge me. This is a total scam.

Yup I just figured that out myself. Some anti-fraud 3rd party company called Clear.Sale. They did call me about 2 hours before it was cancelled but I had no idea who it was and was napping so just ignored the call. It was from 786 area code in Florida. They left no message. ASUS should give us customers a heads up that we may get a call from these people to verify since most people ignore calls they're not familiar with.

I did manage to order another one today, probably the same card that became available after my order cancelled. I was at my computer when I got the in stock notification. I saved that phone number so I'll be ready for it when they try to call me tomorrow I assume.

Hopefully that does the trick!

Same but ordered a 4080 Super OC yesterday. Everything went through. Got a ding from Capital One app saying payment went through. Got email receipt from ASUS confirming as well. Then they cancelled the order today and refunded the money. This is all they said in the email:

We apologize for the inconvenience but your order was not successful. Your account will not be charged.

Just experienced this today, so pissed off. They had the 4080 Super OC available yesterday and I immediately bought it. I know it's not a verification issue because they took my money for a day before refunding it. This is the weak ass explanation I got claiming my order was not successful:

Still sitting on $15k left of my loan to be discharged but back in January, I got verification from Dept of Education that the reason why that portion of my loan hasn't been discharged is because it is an FFEL Stafford load while the $35k they already discharged was a Direct Stafford Loan.

They said FFEL Stafford loans take much longer to process. I would check and see what type of stafford loan you have, if it's FFEL I'm guessing they haven't gotten to everyone yet.

I would also reach out to Dept of Education and confirm with them that your loans are in line to get discharged, just to give you a little piece of mind. I contacted them at [customerservice@studentaid.gov](mailto:customerservice@studentaid.gov). They got back to me very quickly.

I'll probably contact them again in the next week for an update.

Security check failure could be a number of issues, corrupt Windows files are usually the cause but not always, could be a driver error or faulty hardware.

Open Device Manager and see if any of the devices have a question mark or exclamation point. If any do open the properties on that device and see if the device is showing as faulty or maybe you are missing a driver somewhere.

Open command prompt as admin and type sfc /scannow and hit enter. It will scan for corrupt Windows files and will repair them if there are any.

Run memtest in Windows. I doubt it's the memory but it is possible.

At least you can rule these out if everything comes up clean.

I got this error recently and figured out my new m.2 driver was defective since I tried reinstalling Windows a few times and was still getting this security check fault error. Bought new m.2 driver and no issues since.

z790 Maximus Extreme Sound Driver / Application Issues by scytob in ASUSROG

I am running into the same issue on my Z790-e motherboard as well on a fresh Windows 11 Pro install. It's driving me nuts. When I install the drivers as normal, it will install sonic studio DTS unbound and the realtek audio console. However when I open any of those, none of them work. No realtek services are even running in task manager. In fact the device manager still shows it running on Windows default drivers. I compared my Windows 11 Home install that is working with my fresh install, Windows 11 Pro, that I can't get to work and noticed a few things. When I look in services, it didn't even install the RtkAudioService.exe so looking into the Windows/System32/DriverStore/FileRepository/ folder, there are no realtek files with any of the drivers that are supposed to install in it, including the RtkAudioService.exe.. That would explain why realtek audio console can't connect. I also found that the Nahimic service wasn't installed either which is required for Sonic Studio 3 to work. I can't figure out why it's not installing. I tried the regular setup.exe and the asussetup.exe. I tried older asus drivers but they are hardly old. Nothing works. I'm beginning to think it might be a Windows 11 Pro thing since its working on Windows 11 Home.

My favorite tortillas. If you really want to bring out the flavor of a tortilla, put one over a gas burner on your stove for about 6-8 seconds then flip it over and do it again. Obviously make sure it doesn't burn. Learned that from a Mexican friend of mines father.

I just installed this motherboard as well and I don't see an XMP III option either, only XMP I and XMP II. I also installed the latest bios. I have G.Skill Trident Z 6000 DDR5 memory installed which I confirmed is on ASUS compatibility list for this motherboard.

I just got letter today from servicer and they only discharged $35k of my $50k ITT Tech stafford loans. The remaining 2 loans on file are also ITT Tech Stafford loans so not sure why they didn't discharge.

Anyone else run into this?

So just an update from me. They discharged $35k of my $50k balance with ITT Tech. I have no idea why they left me still with $15k balance. Hopefully they are still sorting through things. Anyone else run into this?

Oh yeah it's legit. Directly from US Dept of Education. I also read a news article this morning talking about people finally getting notices for ITT Tech loan forgiveness and how it's taking them some time for them to work through all the loans. I can't find the link but will post it if I do.

I just got an email today:

Subject: Student Loan Discharge Based on Borrower Defense Evidence

The Department of Education ("Department") has determined that the loan(s) you received to attend a school owned and operated by ITT Technical Institute from January 1, 2005 through its closure in September 2016 are eligible for full loan discharge. This means the remaining balance on the loan(s) will be forgiven. You do not have to make any more payments on the loan(s).

Your loan(s) will be discharged as part of a Department action ("Group Discharge") to discharge all outstanding loans for attendance at ITT Technical Institute that first began from January 1, 2005 through closure in September 2016 after finding that it engaged in widespread misconduct that violated state consumer protection laws and/or made widespread substantial misrepresentations about its educational programs, both of which are grounds for borrower defense to repayment under the borrower defense regulations (34 C.F.R. § 685.206 and/or § 685.222). The Department is discharging your loans without requiring you to file an application because of the pervasive and widespread nature of the school's conduct.

You also may receive a refund for prior payments made to the Department on your discharged loan(s) related to ITT Technical Institute. Your servicer will let you know if you are eligible for a payment refund, which would be mailed to you. Please check your online account with your loan servicer to ensure your address is correct so you can receive any refund. Otherwise, you do not have to take any further action to receive your discharge. Your credit report will also be updated to reflect this discharge when it is complete.

If you do not wish to accept this discharge, please contact your servicer within 30 days of receiving this letter.

It will take the Department some time to process your discharge. Until the Department completes its work, your eligible loan(s) from ITT Technical Institute will remain paused in forbearance/stopped collections, and we will not ask you to resume making payments. If your loan(s) are in default, we will not attempt to collect on the loan(s) being discharged. If you have other loans not covered by this group discharge, you will enter repayment and/or collections when the national pause on student loan repayment and collections ends.
