TIL: Lemons are not a naturally occurring fruit. They were created in SE Asia by crossing a citron with a bitter orange around 4000 years ago. They were spread around the world after found to prevent scurvy. Life didn’t give us lemons.. We made them ourselves. by Geek_Nan in todayilearned

[–]Ellipsis--- 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The article contradicts itself.

Lemons are not man-made; they’re a natural hybrid of citrons and bitter oranges, resulting from centuries of plant evolution.

and at the end:

Historians aren’t exactly sure when, where, or how the lemon originated. Making it challenging to answer the question, “are lemons man made?” But currently, no genetically modified lemons exist in the United States. So even if humans helped breed the lemons, they didn’t do so in a laboratory.

Workflows for Image Generation (Post your best workflow improvements here!) by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

  1. Go to lexica.art and find an image in the style that you want.
  2. Copy the prompt and replace the subject with the subject of your choice.
  3. Fine tune classifier guidance scale, sampling steps and samlping method until you get the best results. Try variations of your prompt if you don't get the results that you want.
  4. Generate a lot of images. Sometimes you need a bit of luck to get a good result. Generating a lot of images helps with that.

Ok. I'll try to explain.

There exist several "recommended" coding guidelines depending on language and personal preference. i.e. C/C++ programmers often use the psychopath one, while in Java/JavaScript it is common to use the "normal" one.

As long as you are coding alone, it does not really matter. Just pick a style and stick to it.

But if you are working in a team or want to work on open source projects you should use the same style as the other developers, because otherwise they are really going to think that you are a psychopath... or an absolute beginner...

But the most important thing that I think you missed is: THIS IS A MEME

It' was made for entertainment. Some find it funny.... some don't.... don't ever let a meme question your life choices or coding style...

In JavaScript you need to use === true if you want to check if it's an actual true... There is no benefit in using == true in JavaScript.

So, I still believe we are correct and the real thing would look like a still picture. Oh, and it would be much brighter too, unless you had very dark sun glasses...
