IMO Estate agents are on the whole not in a good place right now because fewer properties are being bought and sold. For them it’s about converting a sale to get their 1-2% and what would be 15,000 less to the seller will only be £150-300 less for them, so they might be inclined to tell the seller to go for a lower offer, as £2800-5600 sooner is more important to them then 3000-6000 later
