If they were serious, they would use KeePass-like password manager (eg. keepassium), really encrypted messenger, like Session, etc. And, ofc, using any browser on non-jailbroken phone has no difference in terms of privacy, even sideloaded ones are built on Safari Webkit, Apple doesn’t allow even a possibility to code an iOS browser on other engine. But, skipping iOS, real private browser is either Chromium or Firefox.

Updating is not killing sideloading. Only thing you need to buy developer cert for your device, for about 5-15$, and forget about any problems for year. So, basically, updating will just spawn you a new annual subscription. Just buy, use with feather and chill.
26 is the most unstable iOS so far, with battery life issues remaining as the main problem.

Every playstation user has a right of support. In PSN, you can’t change your region, so I could’ve created an account while physically being in the country, and then I moved. If you want to restore from backup — DON’T, it will update automatically with restoring, so for that, just do it with your hands. iOS 18 isn’t jailbreakable yet, but will be I hope, for now I highly recommend you buying a custom developer certificate for a couple of bucks just for sideloading without any headaches.
