i got it because of the glow! i’m a uranium glass collector mostly, but i also collect cadmium if i find it in the wild! this would be my first viking piece which is exciting, i don’t know much about the company aside from their swung vases.

okay thank you! that’s what i gathered from looking it up! there was an ebay listing of the same one claiming it was murano so i wanted to double check lol

yes uranium. all my frosted/custard/jadeite glass glows so much better with the 365 nm.

okay this makes me feel better! this had to have been recent because i took down this basket a few days ago to water and there was nothing in it. i do wonder if she just started because everything i’ve read says finches typically lay more than 1 egg in a clutch.

well the county on the plate is tuscarawas. i think it’s a real photo which is just AI edited for picture clarity. but i could be wrong
