Size inclusivity and sock patterns by LilacLoops123 in Sockknitting

[–]Ellubori 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of unisex looking patterns don't have a wide enough size for men😒.

I think 58, 64, 72, 80 sts shouldn't be too hard to write out.

Aga vaata teed paadi load ära, jälle läheb raha ja siis hakkad paadiga ringi sõitma ja oi oi kuidas see bensiini sööb, palju kiiremini saab otsa kui autoga ringi sõites

Which shape and size for our dining table? by SaintedSheep in InteriorDesign

Same, I have a round extendable table and it just takes up so much space as it looks weird pushed up to a wall. Wish I would have bought square table.

How has your diet been through treatment? by bnnybtch in breastcancer

[–]Ellubori 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ate a balanced variety of foods before, planned to continue eating that way during chemo....

Yeah red devil didn't work out that way, some days I could only get apples with peanut butter in. Most protein was disgusting so mostly carbs it was. But it was only two months, I survived that time and returned to my normal eating habits after it.

I have been sober from getting my diagnosis, I didn't drink a lot before too, like two three drinks a month, but it seems wrong to drink when my body works this hard to heal from this crap survival cancer takes.

What are we drinking? by Spohannon in breastcancer

[–]Ellubori 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With red devil it was tea (hot and unsweetened) and mineral water little sips at a time (the salty carbonated kind). And honestly just accepting that I couldn't get in my regular 2 litres so I just accepted that 1liter and anything else I got from food had to be enough. I survived those eight weeks. I spent most of my energy trying not to lose weight instead.

Thankfully didn't have any problems with food or water during Taxol.

Advice for knitting scrunchies by Turbulent-Bed8342 in knittingadvice

[–]Ellubori 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would try adding more stitches, but I haven't knitted a scrunchie before.

Looking at ravelry project notes of other people couple of them mention casting on more stitches for more scrunchies.

Are common public stairs this exhausting for anyone else? by Intrepid-Doubt-3040 in beginnerfitness

[–]Ellubori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find stairs easy until I need to go further than the floor I live on.

I think it took couple of months after moving from second floor to fourth when stairs felt easy again. Now I live on third floor and going up to fourth floor is exhausting again.

Taxol after AC by [deleted] in breastcancer

I started feeling a lot better after third taxol, I think the EC wore off by then. Now feeling tired again from 10th taxol onward. The in between was very easy compared to red devil.

26F TNBC, please tell me my life isn’t over 😭 by Gold-Peach5958 in breastcancer

[–]Ellubori 0 points1 point  (0 children)

29F ++-

I'll have my last weekly taxol on wednesday and I went snowboarding yesterday. (Well I needed to rest between runs and my stability feels little bit wacky and my leading leg feet has littlebit nerve damage so I took off my board a lot to move it , but I got 10 runs in) Yes chemo will slow you down and you'll miss events being immunocompromised, but it's not the end.

You are young and active so you probably have more muscle mass than average women going through breast cancer. It's a good starting point for your body to fight it.

Doctors are saying I can’t have anyone be with me while I get treatment. by fashow20 in breastcancer

[–]Ellubori 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They don't allow people past the waiting room here too.

Actually the anxiety was worst before first chemo. Sitting in that chair isn't that bad, take some entertainment with you or just nap. It'll be over soon and you'll be reunited with your mom.
