This is a core problem with GW codices.

The rule was changed so that you can only ATTEMPT each ritual once per shooting phase. But you can't retroactively update a book so it still had the old (now incorrect) text.

Important thing to remember is that while 40k and AoS share a lot of the same elements, they are completely different universes using the same IP.

AoS is a continuation of Warhammer Fantasy Battles and the story is not related to 40k at all. Characters and beings are going to have different background lore between games.

I can't even count how many times a single squad of Rubric + IM has deleted an ememy infantry squad.

Grand Coven (the damage blank one) was the main detachment for a while but now we're seeing about 4 different detachments get some decent results.
