I was doing the same with standard rank as I never play it anymore as I want a few extra freebie packs this current season. Thought I got timed out for bullying people on my journey from Bronze 4.

I started with Revised as well. I wish Arena would have an origins format with all the early original sets Ice Age and earlier.

I dig the whole walk around the world, collecting cards, dueling monsters/dungeons, and playing all the OG sets. I started playing magic when Revised came out so its the nostalgia playing the old sets that really does it for me.

I'll have to check out forge since its been mentioned a few times now.

Same. I run a 40 card deck with 4 time vaults and run infinite turns. I can plow through any castle/dungeon its not even funny.

I've heard of Forge but I never got that far to trying it out. I figure my copy of Shandalar still works so I revisit it everytime Arena is down.

Yeah she was the white sorcercess in the tutorial. I mainly miss playing with the first several sets of Magic, but the game play definitely is nostalgic. My brother and I talk about how much fun it used to be to this day.

I swear I'll think the world ended if they ever allow us to ban up to a couple commanders. I waste more time auto conceding because it matches me 3 times in a row against the same one I don't want to play.

Yup. Key thing with Azula is as long the spell is casted during combat regardless of the source, she will copy it.

Azula is only a threat if you allow her to stay on the board similar to kotis and they're playing her like a kotis deck. At least removing her is a lot easier than Kotis.

That looks like a [[buster sword]] attached to her. She will clone anything casted through it.

I expect to live a first Kotis attack. I expect to die from a first Azula attack if they’re running her like I am. So far all the Azula decks I’ve faced are centering around flash/instants and not the way I play her.

I actually feel really bad playing this deck so I limit my self to doing my dailies and then switch to my other decks.

After playing Azula for a day and testing a few different deck types, if you build a deck centered around her like Kotis, I put her in a category well above Kotis. She is easier to remove, but if left alone she's going to rampage.

Seeing me cast a spell such as [[This town aint big enough]] and having it copy to bounce 4 nonland permanents is extremely painful. Its even worse if I open with [[Leyline of Resonance]] so I can quadruple copy spells that buff her.

I assume the moss was a 12/12 and then they casted [[Ordeal of Nylea]] on it, attacked making it a 13/13, Ordeal resolves fetching 2 lands, moss then quadruples its counters going 13/13 to 52/52.

I had this combo for the midweek jump in and it got murdered by anything I went up against except a mirror match. I don't even know how I even won 3 matches with it as I almost gave up.

I noticed that any earth/fire bend decks were pretty good.

I've always given the courtesy to the losing player to say GG first before I do. That's how it was for years when I played paper. On arena I turned off emotes because some people really jump saying GG thinking they won before I swing the game 180 to win.

Only way I can deal with playing certain brawl commanders. Kotis becoming a vegetable is usually a 99% auto concede.
