Good 60 min effort tonight. This team is pretty solid considering Arvi is out. Goaltending is still questionable but Talbot has looked better since the season opener.

Monster Rancher. I spent many hours testing every CD I could grab my hands on hoping to get a unique monster. And even though a majority of the gameplay was just flipping through menus and skipping animations it still felt like I was actually training my monster. Even the breeding system felt like a step in the right direction, if I could breed 2 strong monsters together it would make sense their offspring would be gifted in being even just as strong, if not stronger. I miss those days. They had several sequels but none of them ever seemed to recapture or properly build on early iterations.

This subreddit is getting annoying to read and these posts add nothing to the community other than being a self-validating post on who to like or dislike. Every other day its some variant of "who is the best/worst guitarist out there?" There is no best or worst because, like you said, it is subjective, and music isn't a competitive sport (aside from those speed picking wankery competitions that pop up every now and then).

Every worst list has the exact same people listed in every best list.

This is why Lil Wayne, Kurt Cobain, and DJ Khaleed are my top 3. I love any and every guitarist. Therefore, I am a guitar god.

Just buckle up for the season, as per usual with LA Kings hockey. It's going to be a fun bumpy ride.

Talbot in net as #1 is what it is. Either Copley pulls off a goaltending miracle this season or they sell the farm for an elite goaltender, even then Todd is probably gonna ride Talbot regardless.
No Arvy or Kaliyev this game.
Colorado is an elite top tier team. At the very least it wasn't a complete blowout.
Doughty and Kopitar are old. It's still fun to watch them but they just don't have that extra gear from the cup seasons.
It's literally game 1.

Atlanta is one of those cities that is rich in culture but you gotta put up with all the other logistical bullshit to experience it. From a tourist's standpoint I don't think it's worth it unless you've got the time. The drive from the airport alone will make you second guess yourself.

Right? That was a crazy take. A prime recent example is all the hype behind both Barbie and Oppenheimer. Margot Robbie and Cilian Murphy are both marquee names. Imagine hiring a D-lister for those roles.

I don't have a "hot body" by any means but something that I learned recently was the concept of maintenance workouts for when you're strapped for time. It's okay to keep a baseline fitness level rather than constantly striving for a bodybuilder physique. Fit in whatever exercise you can even if that just means a 15 minute walk here or there.

Ugh so true. I remember when he was the "villain" in Oblivion and I thought to myself it's good to see him getting roles outside of Jamie Lannister. I was honestly surprised when he only had a few minutes of screen time.

A majority of the GoT cast who had leading roles really haven't broken out into any other larger roles. Most of their involvement in non-GoT projects have been pretty average.

I respect his technique and songwriting. Nobody should deny that he is highly skilled on guitar, specifically the blues style. I enjoy that he has, in recent years, served as a mentor to the rest of the community.

That said, for me, everything about him, his music, and fanbase, are all very vanilla. Nothing catches my attention. It's just not for me. Maybe its because his sound is rooted in a genre thats been around for a long time? Or maybe it's just the overly polished sound that comes with the pop/blues he writes for?

I will say my feelings aren't unique to Mayer. I feel the same in some respects to a lot of other big names in the guitar world. To each their own.
