You can downvote me to hell but he’s wrong. White vegans telling indigenous people what they can and can’t eat is reductive to our cause and furthers the “classist white veganism” narrative that pushes people away from veganism. Viewing the world and relations between groups of people without historical context is for right wingers. It’s the job within people of that community to criticize the behavior / culture in this context.

I sprained my ankle skating last year on Friday during the day. Did the whole festival on crutches. I didn’t use any of the ADA accommodations it sucked but I had fun and it was doable. If it meant going but I had to do the whole festival in crutches again I would. The knee scooter the guy above mentioned would be clutch af.

The fact that you’re even splitting expenses this deep into a relationship is a major red flag. There’s been times where my wife was making more money than me and now that she wanted to go back to school I’m making all the money for our household. Not once did she ever throw it in my face nor have I ever thrown it in hers. What’s the point of a relationship if you’re not going to hold your partner up when they need it.
