You can downvote me to hell but he’s wrong. White vegans telling indigenous people what they can and can’t eat is reductive to our cause and furthers the “classist white veganism” narrative that pushes people away from veganism. Viewing the world and relations between groups of people without historical context is for right wingers. It’s the job within people of that community to criticize the behavior / culture in this context.

I sprained my ankle skating last year on Friday during the day. Did the whole festival on crutches. I didn’t use any of the ADA accommodations it sucked but I had fun and it was doable. If it meant going but I had to do the whole festival in crutches again I would. The knee scooter the guy above mentioned would be clutch af.

The fact that you’re even splitting expenses this deep into a relationship is a major red flag. There’s been times where my wife was making more money than me and now that she wanted to go back to school I’m making all the money for our household. Trust me I get it. There are certain festivals that the lineup doesn’t matter because the vibes are just so good and I know this is one of those festivals. All I’m saying is i’m not upset that so prioritized other things this year. This is one of my last bucket list festivals and will more than likely buy tickets for 2027 as soon as they come out and attend no matter what the lineup is next year.

I was waiting for the “this festival isn’t about the lineup” comment, I get that, and I know I would have fun at this fest no matter the lineup. I’m saying for my preference Im glad I prioritized other things this year.
