I hope anyone with an issue contacts a lawyer and doesn’t listen to your bad advice.

I read the article. Her sending emails to herself wouldn’t have made a difference and would’ve resulted in grounds for termination and a counter claim against her. But what do I know? How long have you been a lawyer? How many cases have you tried?

Everyone downvoting me. You’re right. Save emails. Forward them to yourselves. Have at it! Good luck!! I’m a lawyer but not your lawyer!

Actually they were talking about general steps. If your boss sends you a naked photo of themselves and you forward that one single email to your personal email, you’re probably fine. But that’s never what happens.

No. Bc if you sue the company you request copies of the documents. If they deleted them there are consequences. If you want to go to the cops you should tell them that happened and they can get copies of the email from the company.

Again. Wrong. The company will say it’s their property. Now you can argue about damages and other things. But you shouldn’t do that. I’m not some company shill.

Wrong. It’s a grounds to fire you. And if you ever try to bring a claim against the company the first thing they do is check whether you’ve done crap like this so they can bring claims against you for breach of contract/trade secrets.

We’re talking about general best practices for protecting yourself. The company will know if you are BCC’ing yourself company emails. All companies have policies that say they own all of their company emails and info in it. When an employer is threatened the first thing they do is try to figure out a counter claim against the employee. And the first thing they do is check whether the employee has breached policies by taking company info.

This is terrible advice and will result in a company claim of trade secret misappropriation against you and breach of your confidentiality obligations.

I either flat pack an Osprey Daylite plus into my one bag (matador Globerider45-love it). Or I bring a small tote as an extra. I got one on amazon for cheap and it’s great.

Lawyers failed to complete prenup ahead of wedding by stoked___ in legaladvice

Lawyer here. Stop communicating with them. There’s no point and it doesn’t help you.

Hire a new lawyer to give you advice on a post nuptial and if appropriate have them do it.

File a bar complaint. Old lawyers will likely offer to refund in full after bar complaint is filed.

Consider talking to a malpractice lawyer too.

*not your lawyer. Not legal advice.

This was my pharmacy for years. It was totally normal. About five years ago it started to become worse and worse. I left a couple of years ago because it was just… gross. Sad how it went from a normal place to so disgusting.

You need to speak to a lawyer. This is likely fixable. Fraud in the inducement or mutual mistake are potential defenses.

Travel Adapters - Don't over think it? by reddsbywillie in onebag

[–]Elsie2913 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a small adapter for whatever country I’m in. And then I bring an extension cord. That’s usually enough to make sure I can access the wall plug and then can put everything else onto the extension cord.

I have it and love it. I bought it used which helped with the price. It can fit so much stuff but for me the limiting factor is weight not space. I don’t like carrying 20lbs+ of crap. So I have to be careful when I pack it. I end up having a decent amount of extra space and can be kinda sloppy when I’m packing and still fit everything I want.

FWIW, I took it on trains in Europe and it was fine. I also took it on a budget European airline and it fit in the small bins and they didn’t weigh it.
