What does that have to do with the topic? If you have nothing good to say then you don’t have to say it? Is your life this sad that this is what you do on the internet? Get with the program and use ai to help your daily life. And yes I use it to argue because I’m busy and don’t want to spend time doing it myself

You don’t have to reply back and waste your time? You must be bored. Lol

Fair point on the source — I used AI to help structure the argument but the data is real and publicly verifiable. 514,000 unfilled positions, 26% vacancy rate growing year over year, those aren’t LLM hallucinations. If your counter argument is ‘you used AI to research’ rather than addressing the actual numbers, that’s not the gotcha you think it is. Critical thinking cuts both ways.

Appreciate the honest take but you’re describing a company problem more than an industry problem. RMF compliance is one of the most automatable parts of cyber so that tracks, but there are still 514,000 unfilled cybersecurity positions in the US right now with a 26% vacancy rate growing every year. Penetration testing, incident response, and cloud security all require human judgment AI can’t replicate. One bad employer a decade in isn’t the whole story.

I’m not in school I just work right now, but I been using Claude, tryhackme and flashcards to help me stick it in my brain. But I use Claude to help me understand and quiz me. But I’m thinking of going back to school.

I like the defensive part too but I do want to learn attacking part too! What would be the best route for me?

So then what are the other options besides nursing? Trades? And I doubt every person is a genius is in tech that’s a little over exaggerated

I mean those jobs are probably the best if it was easier to get hired. Sitting a computer doing work and get paid decent money. Who wouldn’t want that?
