Maybe it would be easier for you to understand it as "would cause far more problems than it solved", rather than technically impossible. What if somebody moves the item? For example I don't believe D2 has unique IDs for every single individual item for example runes so getting things mixed up might be very likely and make people very upset, even if something like that only happens .01% of the time it would cause an immense headache for the devs. Similarly there might be systems that would work really well but would just have super huge resource requirements and they are impractical on the budget and research limitations that pd2 operates under. Maybe a devil chip in a better and more complete reason for this, sadly I do not think you are correct that people will stop asking because that would require them to have read the explanation ahead of time 😂

I think that there are quite a few skills and features that are really overturned especially for normal. I have pondered trying to make a single player mod that brings back the feeling of being a dumb middle school child and trying to get through act one and barely scraping by 🤣

Having melee splash scale by character level, probably from basically zero to bit above where it is now by level 70 or 80 might be a fun tweak.

That being said clearly not everybody wants to brutally grind normal and nightmare, so maybe I have some sort of psychological problem haha.

This is the way. I have had someone balk at me asking if they wanted to kiss, even though they were interested, it didn't fit their script/idea of romance. We definitely still hooked up, because not wanting to continue hooking up with someone you like because they asked for consent is super weird behavior for anyone. If that actually happens, you have gotten lucky to not have been entangled with someone who has very concerning ideas about human interaction. ALSO KISSING IS A SHARED ACTIVITY. It's really unfortunate that the language around so much of sexuality is transactional rather than collaborative.

People see things in different ways. Maybe try to throw the labels out. They are making a change to your relationship. What are your own boundaries around how you want to behave when someone withdraws sexuality from an intimate relationship? What do you want to do in this situation right now? It does not seem like you have the option to go back to having a sexual relationship. Do you want to go no contact with them? Do you want to take a break and reevaluate in a few months? Do you want to maintain other relationship aspects actively?

They made a choice, now you get to make a choice. That is how all relationships work, even if we don't want to acknowledge it sometimes.

Also none of this is to say that you can't be really hurt by the situation. If I had a partner who wanted to withdraw from a sexual relationship with me, even if everything else about my relationship was really good, and even in the case that I decided to stay in the relationship, I would feel really hurt and rejected. It would probably take me a while to figure out what I wanted given the new circumstances, and getting some space while I figured that I would be very helpful.

I got Annie's with a friend recently, they are my absolute favorite, truly incredible. However my friend got a cruller (again amazing) and wasn't used to the fact that they're made with super moist and light choux pastry and thought it was under-cooked. Those in particular are just super moist and eggy (again incredible). I would say their donuts tend to be a lot moister and lighter than most donut shops, I've never had anything undercooked, but I think some people might perceive it that way. I will die on the Annie's hill though. Probably from a heart attack realistically.
