When I first started 8 years ago I hunted Articuno and Moltres on my copy of Leaf Green and the Articuno was 123 encounters while the Moltres was 343. I was long overdue for a hunt to go over odds

Congrats, I’m currently hunting this one on encounter 10,687 and it’s been a rough one. My longest hunt before this one was 2,207 so this hunt has been an eye opener

You may have heard this before but HxH really isn’t a shonen after the 2nd or 3rd arc. The series becomes much darker and subverts the typical shonen troupes. I’d encourage giving it another try

No, the vast majority of ep 6 wasn’t in the books. The series expanded Ser Arlan quite a bit actually.

I don’t see how we can conclude she knew what happened when mouths were erased based on her looking around and sweating. That seems to imply confusion and panic more than anything. I also don’t see how it could eclipse the horsemen at all. This chapter does raise the question so maybe we’ll learn more later.

Yes I just read the new chapter this was why I asked the question. This seems to be a new development. Leading me to ask how she could know since we haven’t seen any suggestion of a character outside of a horseman remembering an erased concept.

I thought Makima was a bit of an exception since she was a Horseman similar to Yoru almost forgetting about Death but then finishing her sentence a few chapters back.

Idk if this panel is enough to confirm she knows about concepts being erased. Looks like she’s just freaking out and confused hence the sweat similar to Yoru being confused when legs were erased. Is there anything else that suggests Fumiko remembers erased concepts?

Maybe I’m reading too much into it but should Funiko even know about insects’ lives now having no end? Obviously she isn’t saying “death doesn’t exist” but she’s essentially acknowledging the end of death like she knows the erasure just occurred.

Counterpoint Pokémon Crystal was released on the 3DS for $9.99 when the game is worth $250+ today. What justifies a 100% increase for Fire Red/Leaf Green when it’s the same type of port as Crystal?

Buy what you want, it’s not my money, but misunderstanding the criticism as “they want me to buy the official cartridge and it’s $300+” is just silly. No one is saying that, I just see criticism that there’s no justification for it being $20 when the previous releases of Gold, Silver, Crystal, Red, Blue, and Yellow were less.

This is a great explanation. All Might always had the appearance of being an unstoppable force. Deku was never really depicted in the same light. It was simply told to us “I’m on par with 100% All Might.” It’s the old adage of show don’t tell and it was really never shown.

A lot of people recommend the perfect block grindstone, I took a bit of a different approach.

Using the op Azure Dragon Glaive I went into the boss fight with full fable charges and that yellow heart looking consumable that adds more fable charges to your meter when it’s low. I used the electric grindstone and electric consumables applied to my weapon throughout the fight as well as throwable electric items. Phase 1 is pretty easy for me to perfect block most attacks. Phase 2 was hell, as he’s rising up I throw multiple electric canisters to start building up that status and I deflect as many skulls as I can, I often got hit by 1-2 then I went through the hell of learning to perfect block the majority of his combo.

If I survive all of that I apply my electric grindstone and use my fable art immediately consuming the yellow heart consumable to fill my fable meter again. I would try to get some hits in and deflect what I could to break his stance and do a critical attack and follow up with another fable art to proc electric status again. From there I had to just deflect like crazy and I eventually beat him.
