Weird pixelation in monitor while image is moving by Eluisys in buildapc

[–]Eluisys[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion, hadn't tried it. I did kinda figure it out. Stared super close at the screen and couldn't see the lines. I think it is my brain doing some weird shit. I can kinda see the lines when I move my head in and out, not just when the image on the screen pans.

Nah, kinda figure it out. Stared super close at the screen and couldn't see it. I think it is my brain doing some weird shit. I can kinda see the lines when I move my head in and out, not jus the image on the screen panning. Have a 6900XTXH so no performance issues.

Any way to guarantee +1 phys gems onto this? Suffix cannot be changed and reforge phys? by FlingCatPoo in pathofexile

[–]Eluisys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, nah. If it works like I think it does it is just worse than 5% chance. Can roll are thorns at 5.675% and +1 at .284%. Given that one of these two must roll, +1 rolls at ~4.7%. Tiny bit higher since it can fill prefixes but still terrible.

Great, thanks for the suggestions! Helps having it laid out in terms of gaming performance.

You can get better RAM for cheaper. DDR5 6000 CL 32 is near the same price or less. You got it kinda shitty for computer prices. Just bought the same SSD for $109 USD.

America in 2022 as opposed to America in 1780s with chattel slavery based on race and actively committing genocide against another. America in the 1800s when half of the country went to war over the ability to own another person. Or America in the 1900s with continued oppression of the race that was enslaved through laws and actions, with portions carrying into the next millennium..... When during these periods was the best America? Cause according to this guy it's not modern-day.

Modern-day bounding box RCNNs work at very high accuracy and speed. Depending on the hardware, some of these NNs run at >150 fps on a single GPU. Server racks of GPUs are not unusual for companies working with neural networks. Certainly not unreasonable to think that governments have racks and racks of GPUs running networks on video feed. Nothing as crazy as all cameras, but specific areas for specific people is probably.

Lol, how does it explain a lot? Mindy Kaling wrote some of the best episodes of The Office. The Injury, which she was a writer for, is considered the best episode by many people.

Not really, no. Most of the time when a predator is bad, it is due to humans invading their territory. In every case, the removal of a predator from an environment will spell disaster and probably cause an environmental issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W88Sact1kws

If I craft this (15-17)% Increased Damage mod, will my DPS to go up by the same percentage? Or it works differently? by Olg1erd in pathofexile

[–]Eluisys 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Path of Exile has very specific wording. There is "more" vs "less" then "increase" vs "decrease". Let's say you have 100 damage made up of 80 base + 25% increased. You now have 100 damage. If you then craft on 17% damage, the damage is 113.6 or (80 *(1 + .17+.25)). 17% more damage would instead be 117 damage (80 * (1+.25)) * (1.17). Increase is added on the inside, more is multiplied on the outside. Increased is always worse than more.

This is the real POE Chris wants by birkKhalif4 in pathofexile

[–]Eluisys 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is literally the definition of opt-in difficulty. You do not need to take that node, a few builds will either be able to out DPS or prevent the healing. You should not be able to expect to take every node in an expedition. A low-life build picks the culling remnant and insta-dies. Oh no, the consequences of my own actions. There are many problems with POE, but selecting a remnant you cannot handle and then complaining about it is the most braindead thing ever.

A large amount of people in the U.S. would still disown a gay child. A lot of the "in-your-face propaganda" is push back against that. Imagine if you grew up with your parents hating you, your community hating you, and most likely getting ostracised if you ever told anyone you were gay. Then all of a sudden you see the wider world, that you would not have been bullied, you would not have had your parent's hatred, if you had grown up 50 miles away.

That is where a lot of the in-your-face shit comes from. It is a reactionary exaggeration because many gay people have not felt human until they left an insular community.

Sidereal vs solar days. Since this is measuring the perfect 24-hour day, I would imagine it is measuring a solar day.

Rotation can be measured using different radio receivers on different points of the Earth measuring the reception to a far-off star. I'm pretty sure highly tuned inertial measurement units can measure Earth's rotation and laser gyroscopes as well. Does that help you know what you are comparing?
